InnerMission Productions has announced the final production of its 2017-18 season, Falling. This San Diego premiere was written by Deanna Jent and will be directed by Samantha Ginn. Falling begins on Friday, November 11, 2017 and plays through Saturday, November 25, 2017 with a press opening on Friday, November 10 at 7:30 p.m. In the Black Box space at Diversionary Theatre.

THE REVOLUTIONISTS at MOXIE Theatre brings comedy to the tragedy of four women during the French revolution. Playing through June 18th at MOXIE Theatre.

Diversionary Theatre will produce the San Diego Premiere of WELL and the San Diego Revival of 2.5 MINUTE RIDE, both by Tony Award-winner Lisa Kron, presented for the first time in repertory. Diversionary brings together Craig Noel Award winners Shana Wride and Rosina Reynolds for an artistic tour-de-force in the San Diego revival of ?2.5 MINUTE RIDE.

This Spring, Diversionary continues its tradition of presenting innovative theatre. For the first time in history, two plays by Tony Award Winner Lisa Kron (Broadway's FUN HOME) will play in rotating repertory. As female playwrights continue to fight for equal representation  in the American theatre, THE KRON REP offers a heaping dose of gender parity. In both 2.5 MINUTE RIDE and WELL, the playwright's life gets catapulted onto the stage. These two autobiographical(ish) plays delightfully fracture theatrical structure, turning conventional notions of theatre on its head.

The Old Globe will present WHEN IT COMES with free public workshop presentations, marking the culmination of Mike Sears's 2015 San Diego Foundation Creative Catalyst Grant. Inspired by writer Sears's real-life experiences, the piece was developed in collaboration with a team of local artists: four San Diego actors, puppetry by Animal Cracker Conspiracy (Iain Gunn and Bridget Rountree), music by Clinton Davis, and direction by Sears's wife, Lisa Berger.

The Warriors' Duet, based on the work of Laura Jeanne Morefield, and written by Charlene Baldridge, will be directed by Anne Gehman and Katherine Harroff and choreographed by Anne Gehman in its presentation at The San Diego Fringe Festival. Performances will play The 10th Avenue Theatre Cabaret Space, beginning tonight, July 5th at 11am, July 6th at 12:30pm, and July 7th at 5:00pm.
