Red Bull Theater's Revelation Readings series will feature Eric Bogosian, Michael Emerson and more. The series began readings on September 14th and will continue the series through June 14, 2010. The series is meant to rediscover neglected classics, and to develop new plays of heightened language and classical themes.

Former Pittsburgh residents returning to work with PICT this season include designer Pei-Chi Su, actors Doug Rees, Kate Young, Alex Cole, Jarid Faubel, and Meghan Heimbecker, and director Jeffrey M. Cordell.

Metropolitan Playhouse presents Anna Christie, by Eugene O'Neill, at the theater (220 E 4th Street) November 14th through December 14th, 2008. Directed by Robert Kalfin, the production features Sam Tsoutsouvas, Jenne Vath, and Roger Clark as Chris, Anna, and Mat.

Anna has left a life in the streets to find her estranged father working a coal barge, and to fall in love with a bold and brazen man who cannot accept her past. Three hard headed lovers of the sea are tossed in a storm of their own desires in an ironic and hopeful story of human frailty.

Yale Repertory Theatre will present a staged reading of John Austin Connolly's The Boys from Siam, directed by Liz Diamond, on Monday, October 1 at 7:30 PM. The reading will take place in the New Theater, located at 1156 Chapel Street in New Haven. Admission is free.
