The Royal Court Theatre announces its new season today, including two new plays by renowned playwrights and an international season of work in the Jerwood Theatre Upstairs.
Stuart McQuarrie and Jason Watkins join Lorna Brown, Sarah Goldberg, Michael Goldsmith, Lucian Msamati, Sam Spruell and Sophie Thompson for the West End transfer of Bruce Norris' critically acclaimed Clybourne Park, directed by Dominic Cooke, Artistic Director of the Royal Court.
Following widespread critical acclaim and a sell out record breaking run, Bruce Norris' satirical comedy Clybourne Park will transfer from the Jerwood Theatre Downstairs at the Royal Court to the West End, for a limited 14 week season, opening for previews at Wyndham's Theatre on 28 January 2011 with a press night on 8 February.
Martin Freeman ('The Office'), Lorna Brown, Sarah Goldberg, Lucian Msamati, Steffan Rhodri, Sam Spruell and Sophie Thompson will star in Bruce Norris's CLYBOURNE PARK at London's Royal Court Theatre, whatsonstage.com reports. The play, which premiered at New York's Playwrights Horizons earlier this year, will begin previews on August 26 and will open on September 2. The production will run until October 2.
