THE ORPHANS' HOME CYCLE, the world premiere of a three part theatrical event by the late Academy Award and Pulitzer Prize winning playwright Horton Foote, will feature a company of 22 actors under the direction of Michael Wilson. The exciting, sweeping work will be co-produced in the 2009-2010 season by Hartford Stage (Michael Wilson, Artistic Director; Michael Stotts, Managing Director) and Signature Theatre Company (James Houghton, Founding Artistic Director; Erika Mallin, Executive Director).

Signature Theatre Company (James Houghton, Founding Artistic Director; Erika Mallin, Executive Director) is pleased to announce that the theatre's 20th Anniversary season in 2010-2011, celebrating author Tony Kushner, will feature the first New York revival of Kushner's Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning epic work, ANGELS IN AMERICA: A GAY FANTASIA ON NATIONAL THEMES. The production will be directed by Michael Greif with Part One: MILLENNIUM APPROACHES and Part Two: PERESTROIKA presented in repertory. Signature's Tony Kushner season will also include two more works to be announced.

Due to continuous sold out performances, long lines around street corner blocks and strong critical acclaim, The Amoralists will be moving their celebrated play, The Pied Pipers of the Lower East Side, to Off-Broadway. The show's Off-Broadway run will begin on September 10th and run through October 5th at Theatre 80 St. Marks, the former home of The Pearl Theatre Company, located at 80 St. Marks Place between 1st and 2nd Avenues in NYC. The Pied Pipers of the Lower East Side is written and directed by Derek Ahonen.

The Nederlander Theatre box office opens today, August 31 at 10:00 AM for THE NEIL SIMON PLAYS, the first Broadway revivals of BRIGHTON BEACH MEMOIRS and BROADWAY BOUND. The box office will be open Monday through Saturday, from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM. The Nederlander Theatre is located at 208 West 41st Street between Seventh and Eighth Avenues.

An anti-social piece about friends, intuitive storytelling, comedy capers and more are being offered this summer by CoHo Productions in its first ever summer programming: Endless Summer. This is our ambitious endeavor to co-produce at least one performance in the CoHo Theater every night beginning Thursday, July 9, until August 29! They're cheap too! Every production has at least one performance in which ticket prices start at $5.

The Clockwork Theatre, a New York City-based non-profit organization is proud to announce the first production of their 5th anniversary season, UNDERGROUND, written by JAMES McMANUS (winner of the 2006 Princess Grace Playwriting Award). Magic Theatre is pleased to announce Scott Hawkins as its new Managing Director. Mr. Hawkins comes to Magic with extensive experience in business and theatre, including a 20-year career as an organizational development consultant, and recent service as Co-President of the Board of Shakespeare Santa Cruz. Mr. Hawkins was appointed after a 6-month search led by the Magic board of directors, and has already begun work getting ready for the 2009-2010 season.

Beowulf Alley Theatre, 11 South 6th Avenue, Downtown Tucson between Broadway and Congress, today announced revisions for the 2009-2010 main stage season. The scheduled dates chosen for each of the five plays remains the same.
