FOOL FOR LOVE by Sam Shepard Opening Weekend Special - All Tickets $12!

The playwright and drama critic Mario Fratti -- best-known for his adaptation from the Italian of the Tony Award-winning musical NINE - will present TRIO, three one act plays about sex religion and politics beginning previews October 7 prior to an official opening October 14 at Theater for the New City (155 First Ave. at 10th St.) in Manhattan.

Producer Daryl Roth announces that following a sold out developmental run last spring, THE DIVINE SISTER, the new comedy written by and starring Charles Busch, directed by Carl Andress, will transfer to the SoHo Playhouse (15 Vandam Street) featuring the entire original company: Alison Fraser, Amy Rutberg, Jennifer Van Dyck, Jonathan Walker, and Julie Halston.

North Coast REP presents a full evening of soulful, acoustic music that you will no doubt leave you spellbound! Indie singers/songwriters, Jenn Grinels and Meghan Andrews, will be in concert one night only on Monday, September 20th. In addition to the live performance, there will be a special Happy Hour with $1 Stone Ales and a FREE Happy Hour Buffet. The Happy Hour begins at 5:30PM and the concert follows at 7:30PM.

The production, originally slated to run through December 19, 2010 and extended once through January 30, 2011, will now play an additional three weeks through Sunday, February 20, 2011.

Second Stage Theatre (Carole Rothman, Artistic Director) has announced that Zach Braff, Bobby Cannavale, Sutton Foster, and Ari Graynor will co-star in the world premiere comedy TRUST, written by Paul Weitz, directed by Peter DuBois. Mr. Weitz returns to Second Stage Theatre, where his plays Privilege and Show People premiered in 2005 and 2006, respectively. Directed by Peter DuBois, who staged Second Stage's acclaimed production of Becky Shaw, TRUST will begin previews on Friday, July 23 at Second Stage Theatre (305 West 43rd street) and officially open on Thursday, August 12. The production runs through September 5.

HotCity Theatre, a professional theatre company with a focus on contemporary programming and new play development announces programming for the 2011 upcoming season. HotCity theatre produces a calendar year season and with the presentation of three new scripts on the Kranzberg Mainstage as well as the 6th Annual GreenHouse New Play Festival, will be adding focus on the portion of their mission relating to the development and production of new scripts.

The Drilling Company's Shakespeare in the Park(ing) Lot will open its 2010 season with 'Love's Labours Lost,' directed by Kathy Curtis, July 8 to 24. The season will also include 'Julius Caesar,' directed by Hamilton Clancy, July 29 to August 14. This is the 19th consecutive year for Shakespeare in the Park(ing) Lot, a favorite New York summertime cultural treat that is performed free in a municipal parking lot at the corner of Ludlow and Broome Streets, Manhattan.
