Williamstown Theatre Festival has announced the complete cast for A Streetcar Named Desire, which runs June 22 through July 3. The production will be led by Jessica Hecht, Sam Rockwell and Ana Reeder, and will also star Michael Bradley Cohen, Esteben Andres Cruz, Jennifer Engstrom, Vella Lovell, Crystal Lucas-Perry, Emily Simoness ,Daniel Stewart Sherman, Lou Sumrall, and Kirby Ward.

J M Synge's comic masterpiece and one of Ireland's greatest plays, The Playboy of the Western World will preview at The Old Vic from 17 September 2011. Fox Broadcasting Company, today unveiled the FOX primetime schedule for the 2011-2012 television season to the national advertising community during its annual Programming Presentation at The New Beacon Theatre. Amongst the shows picked up this fall was a new multi-camera family comedy I HATE MY TEENAGE DAUGHTER stars Emmy Award winner Jaime Pressly ('My Name Is Earl') and Tony Award winner for PROMISES, PROMISES Katie Finneran ('Wonderfalls') as single moms, life-long friends - and former nerds - who fear their privileged and overly indulged daughters are turning out to be just like the girls who picked on them in high school.

VH1 announced today that it will air the 17th annual 'Critics' Choice Movie Awards' on Thursday, January 12 at 9:00 PM ET/PT. This year marks the first year that the show will be held on a Thursday and the fifth straight year the network will televise the event. In addition, Den of Thieves will produce for the second year with Jesse Ignjatovic serving as executive produce for the third year.

Road Less Traveled Productions unveiled its WNY premiere production of Stephen Adly Guirgis' The Last Days Of Judas Iscariot on Friday, April 22, 2011. Guirgis, who is RLTP's 2011 American Theatre Master, will appear in person at the Road Less Traveled Theater on Saturday, May 14th to help celebrate RLTP's 2011 Spring Gala. Tony Award nominated actor Stephen McKinley Henderson, who starred in the 2005 Off-Broadway world premiere of the play, will also appear at the May 14th Gala, as well as at a special event, An Evening With Stephen McKinley Henderson, at the Albright-Knox Art Gallery on Saturday, April 30th.

The New Group presents the first major New York revival of Wallace Shawn's Marie and Bruce in a limited Off-Broadway engagement through May 7. Directed by Scott Elliott, this production features Marisa Tomei as Marie and Frank Whaley as Bruce. BroadwayWorld was on hand for the press opening and brings you photo coverage below!

Sara Chase joins Michel Weiner, and Darren Le Gallo returns this week, on Then we got HELP! Creator Julie Ann Emery (Hitch, 'Damages', 'Dexter') pulls a ‘Roseanne' by putting Chase in the role of Ashley, last season played by Broadway's Brandi Burkhardt, who was unavailable this season.

Artistic Director Jenny Gersten announced today the Nikos Stage line-up for the 2011 Williamstown Theatre Festival (WTF), the company's 57th season and the first under Ms. Gersten's leadership. The Nikos Stage season kicks-off on June 22, 2011 and runs through August 21, 2011 and will include revivals of Tennessee Williams' A Streetcar Named Desire and Henrik Ibsen's A Doll's House, along with three new works: Lewis Black's One Slight Hitch, the East Coast Premiere of Bess Wohl's Touch(ed), and The Civilians' production of You Better Sit Down: tales from my parents' divorce. Directors taking part in the 2011 Nikos Stage season include David Cromer, Trip Cullman, Sam Gold, Joe Grifasi and Anne Kauffman. Actors Jessica Hecht, Paige Howard, Hamish Linklater, Lily Rabe, Sam Rockwell, Lili Taylor and many more will be featured this season on the Nikos Stage.

Last week, Artistic Director Sean Murray and Executive Director Bill Schmidt announced Cygnet Theatre's 2011/2012 Season, with a teaser of an edgy, modern play still under negotiations for the January, February slot. Cygnet Theatre can now officially announce the Southern West Coast Premiere of Martin McDonagh's A BEHANDING IN SPOKANE running January 19th through February 19th of 2012. Cygnet Theatre is located at 4040 Twiggs Street in Old Town San Diego State Historic Park.
