A Kickstarter campaign for the project was launched on Friday morning, March 29, and the goal of $36,000 was met on Monday evening, April 1, as of 11 p.m., approximately 82 hours after it went live. Beginning tomorrow, April 6th, Laura Jordan will join the cast of Off-Broadway's smash hit SILENCE! The Musical as Clarice Starling. Following the announcement that SILENCE! would be ending its long run at the end of 2012, ticket sales unexpectedly soared, shattering all previous box office records held by the show. Subsequently, the producers determined that the production would reopen on January 19th. After opening initially at Theatre 80 on July 9, 2011, SILENCE! was extended numerous times by popular demand and transferred theatres twice, ultimately landing at the new Elektra Theatre in Times Square which was constructed especially for the show.

It was announced today that Billy Crudup ('Almost Famous,' 'Watchmen'), Anton Yelchin ('Star Trek,' 'Terminator Salvation,' 'Like Crazy'), Selena Gomez ('Spring Breakers') and Laurence Fishburne ('The Matrix' trilogy, 'Contagion, 'Man of Steel') will star alongside William H. Macy ('Fargo') and Felicity Huffman ('Desperate Housewives') in Unified Pictures' music drama 'Rudderless.'

Julia Albain and Corey Lubowich (of Team StarKid fame) have announced a Kickstarter campaign for Judas Redux, a project that will include extensive behind-the-scenes content and a new production of The Last Days of Judas Iscariot by Stephen Adly Guirgis, directed by Julia Albain, and featuring Lauren Lopez, Joey Richter and Brian Rosenthal. If the goal of $36,000 is met, The Last Days of Judas Iscariot will be presented at Stage 773, 1225 West Belmont in Chicago, for 18 performances, August 23 - September 8, 2013. Deadline reports that Academy Award winner Anne Hathaway is 'deep in negotiations' to star in Lynn Shelton's upcoming dark comedy LAGGIES. The actress will join Chloe Moretz and Sam Rockwell on the project.

Busy Philipps, star of the TBS original comedy series 'Cougar Town,' and Taye Diggs, star of the ABC drama 'Private Practice,' will reveal the 19th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards nominations on Wednesday, Dec. 12. The announcement will be telecast live on TNT at 9 a.m. (ET)/6 a.m. (PT) and webcast live on tnt.tv and tbs.com. SAG-AFTRA Co-President Roberta Reardon and Executive Vice President Ned Vaughn will introduce Phillips and Diggs to the assembled media.
