Voting has opened for the 2015 BroadwayWorld Houston Regional Awards! Check out the latest live stats as of November 27th. Nominations were reader-submitted and after the nomination period ended, BroadwayWorld's local editors proofed the list for eligibility and errors. Voting runs through December 31.

Providing an intimate look into the beloved characters, Bayou City Theatrics' new production allows its audiences to be swept up in the romantic story of love, loss and the alluring pursuit of the 'American Dream.' THE GREAT GATSBY runs tonight, September 11, through the 27th at Bayou City Theatrics' downtown theater, The Kaleidoscope.

Director and designer Colton Berry brings a solid artistic vision to Bayou City Theatrics staging of SUNSET BOULEVARD, but his conceptualizations remain better than the execution. Uneven acting and vocal performances, persistent sound issues and the price tag ($35 to $40) make this one hard to recommend.

Connecticut Repertory Theatre (CRT) will present Caryl Churchill's Cloud 9 in the Connecticut Repertory Theatre Studio Theatre October 23rd through November 2nd. The play, which during its 1982 Broadway run, 'offer[ed] an evening of uninhibited lunacy', still excites audiences with its confusion of gender roles and exploration of sexual repression versus societal freedom.
