Producers Andrew Lloyd Webber, David Ian, John Frost and the Really Useful Group today announced the 18 children who have been cast in the world's favourite musical, The Sound of Music. There will be three different casts alternating in the roles of the six youngest von Trapp children during the Brisbane season.

As you may know, on April 8 Nonesuch is releasing the Kronos Explorer Series box set and a new CD, A Thousand Thoughts. Both releases spotlight the quartet's longstanding engagement with musical traditions from around the globe.

Sundance Institute announced today the films and installations to be featured in the 2014 edition of New Frontier at the Sundance Film Festival, including the U.S. premiere of The Source (evolving) by renowned artist Doug Aitken and a 3D projection-mapping project by Klip Collective. The Festival takes place January 16-26 in Park City, Salt Lake City, Ogden and Sundance, Utah.
