Two-time Emmy Award-winner Sally Struthers returns to the Ogunquit Playhouse for the premiere of Dolly Parton's 9 to 5 the Musical, August 22 through September 15. 9 to 5, the Musical is based on the hit movie about three office workers who plan to get even with their egotistical, lying and hypocritical boss. When their plan spins wildly out of control the situation becomes hilarious and the laughter is non-stop. The show features the blockbuster title song plus a jubilant score by multiple Grammy Award winner Dolly Parton that mixes Broadway and pop with Dolly's irresistible style. Reagle Music Theatre of Greater Boston has announced the cast of My Fair Lady, the beloved Lerner and Loewe musical masterpiece about an arrogant and crotchety phonetics professor who transforms a spirited Cockney flower girl into an elegant, proper-speaking English lady. Broadway's Rick Hilsabeck (Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Billy Elliot, the first national tour of Phantom of the Opera) stars as the curmudgeonly professor Henry Higgins. His real-life co-star Sarah Pfisterer (Phantom of the Opera, Show Boat, Children and Art) is his reluctant protégé Eliza Doolittle. Hot off his run in "Dancing with the Stars," Emmy-winning television star, celebrity stylist, author and fashion designer, Carson Kressley will return to the Ogunquit Playhouse as Mr. Applegate (aka the Devil himself!) in the 2012 production of Damn Yankees (the new Boston Red Sox version!), on stage tonight, July 25 - August 18. This summer the Ogunquit Playhouse is celebrating its 80th anniversary of producing award-winning theatre in Southern Maine. Carson Kressley was last seen at the Ogunquit Playhouse in his critically acclaimed performance as Man in Chair during the 2010 run of The Drowsy Chaperone.
