Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director) just announced the full company for the new Broadway production of The Big Knife by Clifford Odets, starring Rachel Brosnahan as "Dixie Evans," Bobby Cannavale as "Charlie Castle," Marin Ireland as "Marion Castle," Billy Eugene Jones as "Russell," Richard Kind as "Marcus Hoff," Adam Rapp as "Hank Teagle," Ana Reeder as "Connie Bliss," Reg Rogers as "Smiley Coy," Joey Slotnick as "Buddy Bliss," Brenda Wehle as "Patty Benedict," Chip Zien as "Nat Danziger," directed by Tony Award winner Doug Hughes.

According to the Daily Mail, Gemma Arterton played the lead role of 'Rita' in a workshop production of the musical adaptation of the film Made In Dagenham. There is not yet a London theater or deal drawn up for a full production, but the Mail reports that Arterton has expressed her 'keenness to move ahead with the project.' The show is aiming to take the stage in about a year.

According to Baz Bamigboye for Daily Mail, a new musical based on the movie, 'Made in Dagenham,' is on its way to the West End in 2013. James Bond score writer David Arnold is on board to write the music for the show, with Richard Thomas writing the lyrics. A reading was held earlier this week, and a full workshop is set to take place in February.

Jeremy Irvine To Lead New GREAT EXPECTATIONS Film; Joins Ralph Fiennes, Helena Bonham Carter et al.

Jeremy Irvine, who will soon be seen on the big screen in Steven Speilberg's War Horse, will lead a new film adaptation of Charles Dicken's Great Expectations, according to The Hollywood Reporter. He will join a cast that includes Ralph Fiennes, Helena Bonham Carter, Sally Hawkins (Mrs. Warren's Profession on Broadway), Robbie Coltrane, Ewen Bremner, Jason Flemyng, Tamzin Outhwaite, David Walliams and Holliday Grainger. Filming will begin in the UK on October 10.
