Woody Allen's BLUE JASMINE Set for 1/21 DVD, Blu-ray Release

Explore an intimate portrayal of the inner-battle between fantasy and reality in the lighthearted drama from Sony Pictures Classics, BLUE JASMINE, available Jan. 21 on Blu-ray* and DVD from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. Written and directed by Woody Allen (Midnight in Paris, To Rome With Love), this endearing film finds Academy Award® winner Cate Blanchett (The Aviator, Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role, 2004) as Jasmine French, a former New York socialite, after her life falls to pieces. Following her fall from grace, Jasmine flees the Manhattan high life for San Francisco, where she tries to pull herself back together again, while teetering between a troubled past and a fresh start.

Rhys Darby is best known as Murray in HBO's Flight of the Conchords. Darby made his feature film debut in Yes Man with Jim Carrey and then opposite Philip Seymour Hoffman in Richard Curtis' Pirate Radio. He has been featured as one of the DJ's in The Boat that Rocked, and has since completed two lead roles in romantic comedies, Coming and Going, opposite Sasha Alexander (NCIS) and Lovebirds, opposite Golden Globe winner Sally Hawkins. He most recently wrote, executive produced and starred in Short Poppies for TVNZ in his native New Zealand.

Due to overwhelming demand, the Barrymore Theatre box office (243 West 47th Street) will open early, for one week only, on Monday, July 29 at 10:00 am through Sunday, August 4 at 6:00 pm, for tickets to Harold Pinter's BETRAYAL, starring Daniel Craig, Rachel Weisz, and Rafe Spall, and directed by ten-time Tony Award-winner Mike Nichols. The box office will be open July 29-August 3 from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm, and August 4 from Noon to 6:00 pm. After August 4, the box office at the Barrymore will reopen on Tuesday, September 3.
