The nominations are out for the 11th Annual New Hampshire Theatre Awards. Like Broadway has the Tony Awards, NH has the NHTA's. Those awards will be handed out on Saturday January 26th at the Stockbridge Theatre on the campus of Pinkerton Academy in Derry, New Hampshire. The award ceremony begins at 7pm.

Voting is now underway for the Columbus Awards and continues until December 31, 2012. Winners will be announced in early January.

The World of Art Showcase will include the Vail, Colorado-based painter on the roster of its inaugural event, a highly-anticipated celebration of the visual arts and artists (www.worldofartshowcase.com) at the Wynn Las Vegas today, December 20-22, 2012.

Caravan, the quintessential precursors to the British Prog Rock movement, have announced a very special UK Tour that kicks off on January 8th 2013 at London's prestigious Queen Elizabeth Hall, at the Southbank Centre. The UK tour will see Caravan celebrating the 40th Anniversary of what many critics regard to be the quintessential prog album of all time: 1973's "For Girls Who Grow Plump In The Night".

Super Nature is a radical, ecological melodrama fraught with animal appetites born from the restless imaginations of the BodyCartography Project's Olive Bieringa and Otto Ramstad.

Chicago Slam Works (CSW) presents 'Dead or Alive Battle Royale of Slam Poetry Supremacy for All Eternity' ('Dead or Alive') today, December 5, 12 and 19, 2012 at the Raven Theatre, 6157 N. Clark St. Directed by Artistic Director J.W. Basilo, 'Dead or Alive' presents some of the greatest poets of history to compete with Chicago's finest modern poets in a mock slam.
