The fantastical, magical musical SEUSSICAL began November 11 and run through December 30, 2015 with a press opening today, November 21 at The Marriott Theatre for Young Audiences, 10 Marriott Drive, Lincolnshire, IL. Created by Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty (the Tony Award-winning team behind the acclaimed musical Ragtime) the whimsical production is based on more than 14 beloved stories by children's author Dr. Seuss. SEUSSICAL is directed and choreographed by Jeff Award-winner Rachel Rockwell, with musical direction by Ryan T. Nelson. BroadwayWorld has a first look at the cast in action below!

Goodspeed Sets Starry Group of Writing Teams for 2016 Mercer Writers Colony

In what has become an annual ritual, a total of 36 established and emerging composers, lyricists, and librettists will converge on the Goodspeed campus from mid-January through mid-February 2016 to participate in the Johnny Mercer Foundation Writers Colony at Goodspeed Musicals. The writing teams, representing 19 new musicals, will populate the campus, creating a truly exciting environment for discovery and inspiration. Feinstein's/54 Below to Offer Thanksgiving Prix Fixe Menu Next Week

Feinstein's/54 Below, Broadway's Supper Club, is set to celebrate Thanksgiving in style with a special prix fixe menu from Executive Chef Lynn Bound. On Thursday, November 26, indulge in a Thanksgiving dinner that combines time-honored holiday tradition with the exceptional creativity and quality that exemplifies Chef Bound's food program at Feinstein's/54 Below. The $85 prix fixe includes 3 courses and traditional family-style Thanksgiving sides. Beverages from the Feinstein's/54 Below fall cocktail menu are also available for purchase. Als deutsche Erstauffuhrung prasentieren die FreilichtSpiele Tecklenburg ab dem 18. Juni 2016 das Musical ARTUS Excalibur von Frank Wildhorn. Das Stuck feierte 2014 seine Uraufuhrung in St. Gallen. Die Hauptrolle in Tecklenburg wird Armin Kahl (Zorro 2015) ubernehmen, der vor kurzem als bester Musicaldarsteller nominiert wurde. Milica Jovanovic - zur Zeit in „Mary Poppins" in Wien gefeiert - wird die Konigin Guinevere sein. Als Lancelot wird Dominik Hees („Das Wunder von Bern") zu sehen sein. Als Elisabeth im gleichnamigen Musical feiert Roberta Valentini Erfolge auf einer Tournee, die sie durch Sudostasien und den gesamten deutschsprachigen Raum fuhrt. In Tecklenburg ubernimmt Roberta die Rolle der Morgana. Kevin Tarte, einer der erfolgreichsten Musicaldarsteller der letzten Jahre, wird die zentrale Rolle des Merlin ubernehmen.
