Following the tremendous success of 2017's The Night Siren (charted at #22 in Germany, #28 in the UK), legendary former Genesis guitarist Steve Hackett releases his new studio album At The Edge Of Light on the 25th January 2019. The album which features ten songs, sees Steve unite a vast amount of styles ranging from guitar driven rock to epic orchestration, from world music to the reflective and atmospheric all brought together in Steve Hackett's unique style.
Sage The Gemini Releases New Single and Announces 2019 Tour

Multi-platinum rapper Sage The Gemini has been steadily making his return with recent releases like “It Ain't My Fault,” “Buss It” featuring Chris Brown, “4G,” and “Hoop Dreams”featuring fellow Bay Area emcee Yhung T.O. No matter how many viewings, there is something about the characters of these beloved Christmas programs that feels familiar and right. Some of the greatest musical moments happen only once, in a live setting, and if you're not there to experience them at the time, they're lost to history. But every now and then, a buried treasure is discovered that brings a lost moment back to life and thrills music fans. Such is the case with this recently unearthed live recording of the all-star bluegrass band the Good Old Boys playing at Margarita's Cantina, a Santa Cruz club, in February of 1975.

The Johnny Mercer Foundation (JMF) and the American Music Theatre Project (AMTP) at Northwestern University will once again seek out the nation's most talented young songwriters and writing teams for the 14th annual Johnny Mercer Foundation Songwriters Project. At the end of the 1970s momentous change was afoot in Britain and the world – in society, politics, fashion and culture – and the musical landscape was also about to change forever. The guitar-driven dominance that had propelled rock and punk throughout the decade was about to end, as synthesizers signalled the sound of the future and video transformed the look of the pop charts. The 1980s were about to explode into life and nothing would be the same again.
