What Will The Neighbors Say? is excited to announce the creative team for the workshop production of Founding Co-Artistic Director James Clements' latest play, Beauty Freak: Leni Riefenstahl's 'Olympia,' this November. The production will officially inaugurate the company's 2018-2019 season at the Plaxall Gallery in Long Island City, following a week long development workshop in the space.

The MITTEN Lab (A Michigan Incubator for Theatre Talent Emerging Now), led by co-founders Katherine M. Carter and Rachel Sussman, is proud to announce this year's artists for its third annual residency program in Northern Michigan, taking place September 9th through 16th.

The Ohio Community Theatre Association (OCTA) held its Central Region Festival on Saturday June 2nd at Kenyon College, Gambier, Ohio. This is a juried festival where the community theaters perform a portion from one of their shows from the past season. Excerpts were by Out of the Box Community Theatre's Harvey, Curtain Players' Wendy Darling, Bucyrus Little Theatre's Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Eclipse Theatre Company's Glass, Licking County Players' Almost, Maine, Mount Vernon Players' Dancing On Clouds, and Little Theatre Off Broadway's Psych.

Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prize-winning autobiographical family drama, Long Day's Journey Into Night, is widely regarded as one of the most powerful American plays of the 20th century. The acclaimed Bristol Old Vic production-which premiered in 2016 as the centerpiece of its 250th anniversary season-is helmed by award-winning theater and film director Sir Richard Eyre, and features unforgettable performances by stage, screen, Tony- and Oscar-winning actor Jeremy Irons and renowned stage, screen, Oscar- and Olivier-nominated actress Lesley Manville.

 Yerba Buena Center for the Arts (YBCA) announces the return of Transform, its signature two-week festival occurring each fall and spring. Running May 9-20, 2018, in the YBCA Forum and Theater, the festival convenes leading contemporary artists for a provocative showcase of dance, music, and theater that can only happen at YBCA. Founder and Executive Artistic Director Benjamin Davis announces today that submissions for the Third Annual Atlanta Musical Theatre Festival (AMTF), to be held in August in Atlanta, will open on December 1, 2017.
