Last night, July 27, the cast of GLEE performed a special concert, the GLEE Academy Event at the Music Box Theate in Hollywood. EW.com's Ausiello Files confirms that Cheyenne Jackson is the latest stage and small screen favorite to join the cast of GLEE as a recurring guest star - specifically, as the new coach of Vocal Adrenaline (taking over for Idina Menzel's character).

According to Deadline.com Chord Overstreet has been cast as a new member of New Directions on Glee.

According to Celebritology.com Co-Creator of GLEE Ryan Murphy confirmed that Kristin Chenoweth and Idina Menzel will return to the hit show this fall reprising their respective roles. Murphy says the appearances will be guest appearances not regular roles.

At Comic- Con, GLEE creator Ryan Murphy announced that next season, the show will present a 'Rocky Horror' episode.

The full schedule for this year's Comic-Con, to be held at the San Diego Convention Center from July 22 to July 25, has been announced. The Comic-Con will feature special guests including GLEE stars Chris Colfer, Jenna Ushkowitz, Kevin McHale, Mark Salling, Heather Morris, and Naya Rivera, as well as GLEE executive producers Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk. The group will appear in Ballroom 20 from 1:30pm to 2:30pm on July 25 to answer questions and preview Season Two. In addition, the show's assistant costume designer, Jennifer Eve, will appear at a costume designers event on July 23.

Logo announced today that it has acquired the off-cable syndication rights to the groundbreaking dramatic series 'Nip/Tuck' in a four-year licensing agreement with Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution. This deal marks the premiere for the series in syndication. The agreement includes all 100 episodes spanning the complete seven seasons of the Golden Globe(R) Award-winning and multiple Emmy(R) Award-nominated drama.

According to Deadline.com, the much-speculated WICKED film is finally on the move. Producer Marc Platt, screenwriter Winnie Holzman, and composer Stephen Schwartz have recently been meeting with potential directors -- including JJ Abrams (2009's 'Star Trek,' 'Lost'), James Mangold ('Walk the Line'), Ryan Murphy ('Glee'), and Rob Marshall ('Chicago,' 'Nine'). The article also notes that Spears will be the focus of only the first of two GLEE tribute episodes next season. Matthew Morrison told the Los Angeles Times that he finds 'Glee's Emmy nominations 'pretty darn amazing.' GLEE, on which Morrison stars as glee club director Will Schuester, was nominated for nineteen Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Comedy and Outstanding Actor in a Comedy for Morrison.

One of Orange County, California's newest theater companies, 3D Theatricals, will present HELLO, DOLLY! from July 9 through August 1 at the gorgeous O.C. Pavilion Theatre in the Arts District of downtown Santa Ana. Starring as the matchmaker Dolly Levi will be Broadway veteran (and Los Angeles-area theater favorite) Ruth Williamson. During a break from show preparations, Williamson paused briefly for a chat with BroadwayWorld's Michael Lawrence Quintos to discuss her extensive history in the theater and her excitement in taking on the iconic role.
