Today, we are spotlighting the absolute must-haves for the Broadway baby on Santa's shopping list - all of the very best theatre-related music, movies, events and more - well, at least sixteen or seventeen of them…

With the success of THE 39 STEPS, a spoof of the Alfred Hitchcock film, it is no surprise that other similar shows would find their way onto the stage. Playhouse on the Park in west Hartford is hosting a run of one wannabe, THE HOUND OF THE BASKERVILLES.

Broadway veteran Natalie Toro brings her infectious energy and powerhouse vocals to The Purple Room for a special appearance and CD release party tonight, December 13, 2013 at 7 pm. Toro's performance is free to the public but reservations are recommended. The Purple Room is located at 1900 East Palm Canyon Drive in Palm Springs.
