Finborough Scales Back THE WALLACE to Staged Reading, Sept 15

Finborough Theatre regrets that, due to funding issues, they have had to cancel the planned full production of The Wallace. Instead, Finborough will be presenting a staged reading of the play for one performance only on Monday, 15 September 2014 at 7.30pm.

Showtime Sets Two-Hour HOMELAND Season Premiere

The highly anticipated season 4 of SHOWTIME's Emmy(R) and Golden Globe(R)-winning hit drama series HOMELAND will premiere the first two episodes airing back to back on October 5 beginning at 9 p.m. ET/PT. Additionally, SHOWTIME has moved up the premiere of the highly anticipated new drama series THE AFFAIR, which will now debut on Sunday, October 12th at 10 p.m. ET/PT.

SHOWTIME has announced the premiere date for the network's provocative new drama series THE AFFAIR, which will make its series premiere on Sunday, October 19th at 10 pm ET/PT. Currently in production in Montauk, NY, on ten episodes, THE AFFAIR stars Golden Globe nominees Dominic West (The Wire) and Ruth Wilson (Luther), as well as Emmy nominee Maura Tierney (ER) and SAG Award nominee Joshua Jackson (Fringe). Award-winning playwright Ayub Khan Din's first play, East is East, which premiered at the Royal Court and was later turned into a much-loved feature film, returns to the London stage after 17 years. This hilarious and ever-pertinent modern classic about growing up in multiracial England will star the multi award-winning stage and screen actress Jane Horrocks (Young Vic's Annie Get Your Gun,Sunshine on Leith, The Rise And Fall Of Little Voice, Absolutely Fabulous) as Ella Khan, one of the greatest female roles written for modern theatre.

The Olivier Awards with MasterCard – the most prestigious event in the UK's theatrical calendar – has revealed further details of the 2014 awards ceremony to be held on Sunday 13 April at the Royal Opera House and broadcast from 22:15 that evening on ITV in a full highlights package.

Ruth Wilson stars in the London premiere of The El. Train: three one-act plays by Eugene O'Neill (The Web, Before Breakfast and The Dreamy Kid). The plays, written between 1913 and 1918, are being presented together for the first time. Ruth acts in The Web and Before Breakfast, directed by Sam Yates, and makes her directorial debut with The Dreamy Kid. Combining live music with immersive design, all housed in the intimate setting of Grade II listed Hoxton Hall (built 1863, seating an audience of 125), The El. 'Mary Poppins' actors Dick Van Dyke and Julie Andrews joined 'Banks' cast members Paul Giamatti, Colin Farrell and Bradley Whitford and many more at the event held at Walt Disney Studios. Ruth Wilson Stars in, Co-Directs World Premiere of THE EL. TRAIN, Three Plays by O'Neill, Now thru Dec 30

Ruth Wilson (Saving Mr Banks, Anna Christie, A Streetcar Named Desire, Luther, The Lone Ranger) will star in the London premiere of The El. Train: three one-act plays by Eugene O'Neill (The Web, Before Breakfast and The Dreamy Kid). The plays, written between 1913 and 1918, are being presented together for the first time. Ruth will act in The Web and Before Breakfast, directed by Sam Yates, and will make her directorial debut with The Dreamy Kid. Combining live music with immersive design, all housed in the intimate setting of Grade II listed Hoxton Hall (built 1863, seating an audience of 125), The El. Train will run for a limited four-week season from tonight, 6 December - 30 December, with press nights on the 12 & 13 December. Design is by Richard Kent, with lighting by Neil Austin and original composition and sound design by Alex Baranowski. The El. Train is being produced by Found Productions.
