The Tony, Olivier and Grammy Award-winning Best Musical JERSEY BOYS celebrates its 8th year on Broadway today Wednesday, November 6. JERSEY BOYS opened on Broadway to critical acclaim at the August Wilson Theatre (then called the Virginia Theatre). The show has been seen by over 18 million people worldwide (as of July, 2013) and is currently playing in New York; Las Vegas; London; in cities across the U.S. on a National Tour and in The Netherlands, and is currently the 15th longest running show in Broadway history, having recently surpassed the records held by Fiddler on the Roof and Hello, Dolly!.

The biggest Monday Musicals to date took place at XL Cabaret on Monday, October 21st. Revelers celebrated XL Promotional Director Dougie Meyer's birthday and sang and danced along to VJ Tony Built's music and visuals from some of Broadway's biggest shows, which could be viewed across a half-dozen screens throughout the club. All the proceeds for the evening will go to the Humane Society of New York, which has 'cared for animals in need when illness, injury or homelessness strikes' for over 100 years. The Humane Society saved Bisen-Hersh's cat, Smee's, life in 2009, and this annual benefit is his way of saying thanks.?
