Lionsgate has announced that Jeffrey Wright has been cast in the role of Beetee in The Hunger Games: CATCHING FIRE, the much anticipated film adaptation of Suzanne Collins' worldwide smash hit novel 'Catching Fire.' Hailing from District 3, Beetee earns the nickname 'Volts' because of his electronics expertise.

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of Mercury Musical Developments, performers including Michael Xavier, Janie Dee, Claire Moore, Hayley Gallivan, Maria Friedman, Danielle Hope, Alison Jiear, Haydn Gwynne, Sally Anne Triplett, David Bedella, Tam Mutu, Paul Kaye, Stuart Matthew Price, Lucy May Barker, Madalena Alberto and Jenna Russell will feature at a gala concert on October 14 at the Novello Theatre.

For Fall Movie Preview week, MTV News interviewed Les Miserables film director Tom Hooper about his upcoming big-screen adaptation of the musical, starring Hugh Jackman as Jean Valjean, Anne Hathaway as Fantine and a slew of other big-name stars. In the interview, Hooper described Hathaway's performance of 'I Dreamed A Dream' as 'quite breathtaking.' Dale Olson, One of the entertainment industry's greatest Publicists passed away this morning, August 9, 2012, at the Burbank Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center after a long battle with cancer. He was 78.
