The New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) began earlier this week on July 8th and will continue through July 28th. An additional slate of special events, free events, staged readings and several educational panel discussions will be announced shortly. Below, check out a roundup of photos of this year's casts!

Having earned a reputation as one of New York's most daring young theater companies, The Amoralists continue to grow in size, ambition and audacity. In the seven years since its founding, the Company has successfully produced 16 productions of ten plays, including nine world premieres, and has quickly moved from basement theaters to Off-Broadway. On the heels of these accomplishments, The Amoralists kick off 'The Summer of The Amoralists' season with the New York premiere of Mark Roberts' Rantoul and Die, directed by Jay Stull and featuring performances by Derek Ahonen, Sarah Lemp,Matthew Pilieci and Vanessa Vache - all members of The Amoralists' 50-member ensemble. La MaMa presents the World Premiere of Chemistry of Love, written by Jill Campbell and directed by George Ferencz. Chemistry of Love runs May 2 - 19, 2013 in a limited engagement at La MaMa's First Floor Theatre, located at 74A East 4th Street between 2nd Avenue & the Bowery in New York City. Collision runs Off-Broadway from January 10 - February 17, 2013 at Rattlestick Playwrights Theater, located at 224 Waverly Place between Perry & West 11th Streets in New York City. Previews begin January 10 for a January 22 opening. Performances are Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 7pm, and Sundays at 5pm. There is no performance on Sun 2/3. HOMO: THE MUSICAL will resume performances tomorrow, Saturday, November 3, with performances at 8 PM and 10 PM. There is an added a matinee on Sunday, November 4 at 2 PM, which is their final performance.

Due to popular demand, the Amoralists will bring their celebrated play THE PIED PIPERS OF THE LOWER EAST SIDE back Off-Broadway for a one-week-only, strictly limited engagement of seven performances. The show's Off Broadway started this week on August 28th, and runs through September 2nd at the 9th Space in the East Village, 150 First Avenue at 9th Street. The Amoralists are currently presenting the World Premiere of The Bad and the Better, written by Derek Ahonen, directed by Obie Award winner Daniel Aukin and featuring The Amoralists acting ensemble. The acclaimed downtown theater company moved uptown for this six-week Off-Broadway run that began on June 14, and continues through July 21 at The Peter Jay Sharp Theater, located at 416 West 42 Street between 9 and 10 Avenues in New York City. On June 11, Anthony Rapp (Rent) guest starred in special reading of 'The Pride' by Alexi Kaye Campbell, as part of afundraising initiative for Fundamental Theatre Project's upcoming season. The evening was hosted by FTP Patrons, Scott Mitchell and Ed Neppl. The one-night reading also helped raise awareness for 'Minnesotans United For All Families', an equal rights organization.
