Profiles in History, run by Joe Maddalena, is thrilled to announce that these iconic costumes worn by Julie Andrews and the 'Von Trapp' children, will be on the auction block at their Hollywood auction today, July 29th. The Sound of Music is the most successful movie musical in history which spawned some of the most beloved songs in the American songbook, including 'Edelweiss', 'Do-Re-Mi', 'Sixteen Going on 17', and 'My Favorite Things.'
