Following in the wake of a critically acclaimed tour with fellow American Idol alum, Ruben Studdard, Clay Aiken is hitting the road once again. The singer who first wowed audiences in the 2003 American Idol competition, will hit 20 cities across the U.S. beginning February 10, 2011, which includes his third PlayhouseSquare visit for one 7:30 pm performance Saturday, February 19th at the Palace Theatre.

Producer John Breglio and The National Theatre announced casting today for the national tour of DREAMGIRLS, coming to Washington, D.C., July 28 through August 8.

Nigel Lythgoe will return to his role as an executive producer of 'American Idol' for the show's tenth season, The Hollywood Reporter reports. Lythgoe, who was an executive producer during the show's first seven seasons, will be one of four executive producers, along with Simon Fuller, Cecile Frot-Coutaz and Ken Warwick.

The Broadway Church Ladies will perform their 'Back on Broadway' Show at the Triad Theater at 158 West 72nd St, New York City, Saturday, July 17th 7p.m. The Church Ladies, played by Leilani Bryant, Yolanda Wyns, and Teresa Stanley, were the ever-present trio in Oprah Winfrey's Broadway production of The Color Purple. They appear virtually in every scene of the award-winning production, starring Fantasia as Celie.
