It's lights, camera, soul in the great city of Las Vegas as some of music's biggest hit makers grace the stage on this year's SOUL TRAIN AWARDS 2013.

Vulture reports that Fox, FremantleMedia, and 19 Entertainment have approached many of the stars churned out of the IDOL machine - including Jennifer Hudson and Kelly Clarkson - for the vacant judging positions. Adam Lambert and Clay Aiken are also being considered.

According to preliminary rating's reports, the premiere of the 12th season of FOX's AMERICAN IDOL earned a 6.0, down 19% from last year's 7.4 among adults 18-49. The premiere rating is the lowest since the first season which aired in the summer.
