Photo Flash: In Rehearsal with Bertie Carvel & Cast of The Old Vic's THE HAIRY APE

The Old Vic announces the full cast joining Bertie Carvel inRichard Jones' new production of THE HAIRY APE, the second production in Matthew Warchus' opening season as Artistic Director. THE HAIRY APE opens on 29 October, with previews from 17 October, and will see The Old Vic theatre transformed back to its original proscenium arch layout.

Clint Dyer and Carolina Main Lead Theatre503's VALHALLA, Beginning Tonight

Clint Dyer and Carolina Main have been named as the cast of Paul Murphy's VALHALLA - the joint winner of Theatre503's inaugural international Playwriting Award. This tense psychological thriller is set in a world in which men have become gods, but gods have become depraved.

Red Bull Theater to Open 12th Season with Reading of THE MAN OF MODE Starring Michael Urie

Red Bull Theater today announced that their Twelfth Season will kick off with a special benefit reading and party on Monday October 26th (7:30pm): George Etherege's The Man Of Mode, or, Sir Fopling Flutter, directed by Jesse Berger starring Michael Urie, along with Matthew Amendt, Suzanne Bertish, Angel Desai, Ryan Garbayo, Adam Green, Kathryn Meisle, Amelia Pedlow, Everett Quinton, Reg Rogers, Liv Rooth, Mary Testa, Marc Vietor, Spiff Weigand, and more. The Man of Mode will feature live music by Scott Killian. Libertine or liberator? London's leading rake wreaks hilarious havoc on high society in this - the original Restoration Comedy - with help from Sir Fopling Flutter, the first and greatest of the Restoration fops. An exclusive party with cast and special guests including Chukwudi Iwuji, Miriam Silverman, Matthew Rauch, and Laila Robins, among others, follows the benefit reading.

TREASURE Begins in October at Finborough Theatre

In a production commissioned by the Finborough Theatre, a unique opportunity to see a classic of Yiddish theatre for the first time in the UK - Treasure by David Pinski opens at the Finborough Theatre for a four week limited season on Tuesday, 20 October 2015 (Press Nights: Thursday, 22 October and Friday, 23 October 2015 at 7.30pm).

STRICTLY DISHONORABLE Actors to Perform at ELTC's Gala

Mercedes Ruehl Stars in Hampton & Wilson's FULL GALLOP, Beginning Tonight at The Old Globe

Long before the devil wore Prada -- 20 years ago, in fact -- the story of the irrepressible Diana Vreeland first commanded the stage of the Globe in a world premiere in 1995. Oscar and Tony Award winner Mercedes Ruehl (The Fisher King, Lost in Yonkers) now brings 'The Empress of Fashion' back in FULL GALLOP. Written by Mark Hampton and Mary Louise Wilson and directed by Andrew Russell, FULL GALLOP will run tonight, September 26, through October 25, 2015, with opening night on Thursday, October 1 at 8:00 p.m., in the Sheryl and Harvey White Theatre, part of the Globe's Conrad Prebys Theatre Center.

PIG FARM Announces Full Cast - Dan Fredenburgh, Erik Odom, Charlotte Parry and More; Oct. 21

Tickets Go on Sale This Monday for MATILDA THE MUSICAL at Wharton Center

TIME Magazine's #1 Show of the Year, MATILDA THE MUSICAL, is coming to Wharton Center as part of the MSUFCU Broadway at Wharton Center series. Produced by the Royal Shakespeare Company and the Dodgers, the first national tour of MATILDA THE MUSICAL will be featured on Tuesday, April 19 - Sunday, April 24, 2016 in Cobb Great Hall. Tickets to see MATILDA THE MUSICAL go on sale Monday, September 28.

Owen Teale & Ian McElhinney to Lead Mirvish's GASLIGHT; New Additions to 2015-16 Season Revealed!

David Mirvish announces additional shows and new details about his 2015-16 theatre season. Consisting of seven shows in the Main Subscription and three shows in the Off-Mirvish Subscription, the season also has eight shows that will be presented outside of subscription. In total, Mirvish will produce and/or present 18 shows in four different theatres - The Royal Alexandra, The Princess of Wales, The Ed Mirvish and The Panasonic.

Django Bates to Compose St. James Theatre's AROUND THE WORLD IN 80 DAYS

Keyboardist, alto horn player, composer, and founding member of Loose Tubes Django Bates will compose the score for a new stage production of Jules Verne's classic 1873 novel, Around the World in 80 Days, running at the St. James Theatre from 26 November 2015 - 17 January 2016 with a press night on 3 December 2015. In an adaptation by playwright Laura Eason, a writer on hit Netflix series House of Cards, the production will be directed by Lucy Bailey and produced by Simon Friend Entertainment, St. James Theatre Productions and Ros Povey Productions. Casting will be announced shortly.

CLARION Coming to Arcola Theatre

Following an acclaimed, sell-out run in April, Critics' Circle award-winner Greg Hicks and three-time Olivier award-winner Clare Higgins are to resume their starring roles in Mark Jagasia's Clarion, one of the smash-hit plays of the year.
