To mark Roald Dahl Day today, 13 September, the Royal Shakespeare Company's Matilda the Musical welcomed to the Cambridge Theatre stage a very special visitor. Emma Moore, one of the four actresses who share the role of Matilda in the West End, supported the LEGO Roald Dahl Hero campaign by posing alongside the LEGO build of Matilda - which is composed of 8,900 bricks and took 48 hours to construct. HEAD OF PASSES, Starring Phylicia Rashad, Begins Next Week at the Taper

FISHSKIN TROUSERS Comes to Park Theatre

In the 1200AD Chronicon Anglicanum, Ralph of Coggeshall documented the tale of the Wild Man of Orford. Describing a naked wild man, covered in hair, the mysterious figure was caught in the nets of local fishermen around 1167. Mute and feral, the man was imprisoned in Orford Castle for six months before vanishing without a trace. Accounts of the era questioned if the captive was a merman, though it would be centuries until such a story could be reconsidered as a mental health problem.
