Matthew Kelly and David Yelland To Star In First Revival Of Alan Bennett's THE HABIT OF ART

The Original Theatre Company and York Theatre Royal will present the first ever revival of Alan Bennett's THE HABIT OF ART directed by Philip Franks and starring Matthew Kelly as W. H. Auden/Fitz and David Yelland as Benjamin Britten/Henry. The tour begins on 30 August 2018 at York Theatre Royal.

Dystopian Trump Thriller BUILDING THE WALL Announces Casting

In the UK Premiere from Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning writer Robert Schenkkan (Hacksaw Ridge, All the Way), the political thriller Building The Wall comes to Park Theatre. A harrowing tale of the terrible events that resulted when Donald Trump made good on his promise to build a 'beautiful wall' between Mexico and the United States. The official press night will be Friday 4 May, 7pm.

SWEENEY TODD Returns To London For A Strictly Limited Run

Full Cast Revealed For Daniel Taylor Productions' Shakespeare Double Bill Coming To The Epstein Theatre

Two of Shakespeare's classic plays come to The Epstein Theatre from Wednesday 11 - Saturday 21 April and today producers, Daniel Taylor Productions, can reveal the full cast. The plays form part of an ambitious, fully immersive, alternating repertoire, which sees the cast perform the two plays back to back in the same day.

DRY ROOM Goes To Tate Modern, Brighton Fringe And UK Tour

Rose Theatre Kingston Announces 2018 Christmas Show HANSEL & GRETEL

Rose Theatre Kingston today announces its 2018 Christmas show, a festive new version with original music of the Brothers' Grimm classic Hansel & Gretel written by Ciaran McConville, who returns to the theatre following last year's successful adaptation of Alice in Winterland. Rosie Jones will direct a cast of local young actors from Rose Youth Theatre led by a team of professional actors. The production opens on Friday 14 December, with previews from Thursday 6 December, and runs until Sunday 6 January 2019.

This Master Class with Fiona Shaw is a rare opportunity to meet and work with one of the most influential actresses and directors of contemporary theatre. Participants are expected to prepare a short piece of text of their choice to work on, such as: an audition speech of any kind, a speech from a scene, a poem, any text (classical or contemporary), even their original writing, or - as recommended by Ms. Shaw herself - a compilation of things, which may include, for example: some sonnets mixed with contemporary writing, basically any text that is two-minutes or less in length.
