Dystopian Trump Thriller BUILDING THE WALL Announces Casting

In the UK Premiere from Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning writer Robert Schenkkan (Hacksaw Ridge, All the Way), the political thriller Building The Wall comes to Park Theatre. A harrowing tale of the terrible events that resulted when Donald Trump made good on his promise to build a 'beautiful wall' between Mexico and the United States. The official press night will be Friday 4 May, 7pm.

DRY ROOM Goes To Tate Modern, Brighton Fringe And UK Tour

Dry Room is a cross-disciplinary piece about childhood trauma, friendship, and redemption. Following its successful premiere at the World Stage Design Quadrennial 2017, the show will give its UK premiere at the Brighton Fringe.

Rose Theatre Kingston Announces 2018 Christmas Show HANSEL & GRETEL

Rose Theatre Kingston today announces its 2018 Christmas show, a festive new version with original music of the Brothers' Grimm classic Hansel & Gretel written by Ciaran McConville, who returns to the theatre following last year's successful adaptation of Alice in Winterland. Rosie Jones will direct a cast of local young actors from Rose Youth Theatre led by a team of professional actors. The production opens on Friday 14 December, with previews from Thursday 6 December, and runs until Sunday 6 January 2019.

Round House Theatre Announces 2018-2019 Season And Capital Campaign

Artistic Director Ryan Rilette and Managing Director Ed Zakreski are thrilled to announce the five mainstage shows that will comprise Round House Theatre's 41st Season. This announcement comes on the heels of the launch of 'Full Circle,' a capital campaign that will expand the company's artistic and education programming, as well as make significant upgrades to the interior performance and public spaces at the company's theatre in Bethesda, Md.

A.R.T. Announces C1's WIG OUT At OBERON 4/26 - 5/13

Company One Theatre (C1), in collaboration with American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) presents, Wig Out! by Tarell Alvin McCraney. Previews begin Thursday, April 26, with press opening on Saturday, April 28 at 7pm. Performances continue through May 13 at OBERON (2 Arrow Street, Cambridge, MA). United Solo Offers A Master Class With Fiona Shaw

This Master Class with Fiona Shaw is a rare opportunity to meet and work with one of the most influential actresses and directors of contemporary theatre. Participants are expected to prepare a short piece of text of their choice to work on, such as: an audition speech of any kind, a speech from a scene, a poem, any text (classical or contemporary), even their original writing, or - as recommended by Ms. Shaw herself - a compilation of things, which may include, for example: some sonnets mixed with contemporary writing, basically any text that is two-minutes or less in length.

Polly Findlay directs Christopher Eccleston in his RSC debut in the title role of Macbeth, with Niamh Cusack returning to the company to play Lady Macbeth and Edward Bennett as Macduff, in a contemporary production of Shakespeare's darkest psychological thriller. Returning home from battle, the victorious Macbeth meets three witches on the heath. Driven by their disturbing prophecies, he sets out on the path to murder.

Theatr Clwyd Announces Further Programming For 2018

With The Assassination of Katie Hopkins in rehearsals, Artistic Director of Theatr Clwyd, Tamara Harvey and Executive Director, Liam Evans-Ford today announce the 2018 Autumn Season for the company. This includes an all-female cast in a co-production with Sherman Theatre of Lord of the Flies and a first-time co-production with Clean Break of the world premiere of Thick as Thieves from award-winning Welsh playwright Katherine Chandler.
