Dom Coyote's WE CAN TIME TRAVEL to Embark on UK Tour
by Stephi Wild
- Mar 8, 2018
Storytelling and gig combine in this contemporary sci-fi fairy tale inspired by H.G Wells' 1895 novella The Time Machine. In his first solo piece, musician and theatre-maker Dom takes us on a joyous journey through time with a wakeup call to stop our chaotic present becoming a dystopian future. This lyrical new work, part sung, part spoken, to a back drop of 80's synths and drum machines, is a story of adventure, hope and the secret societies that meet in the pub on the corner. Dom Coyote's last show, Songs for the End of the World, a rock n' roll gig-theatre piece inspired by David Bowie and Philip K Dick, won a Vault Festival Origins Award 2016.
