TFANA Announces Full Cast and Creative Team of THE WINTER'S TALE

Theatre for a New Audience (TFANA; Jeffrey Horowitz, Founding Artistic Director) announces the full cast and creative team for William Shakespeare's tragicomedy The Winter's Tale, directed by OBIE Award-winner Arin Arbus. The production plays March 13-April 15, 2018, at Polonsky Shakespeare Center (262 Ashland Place), TFANA's home in the Brooklyn Cultural District.

Edward Albee's THREE TALL WOMEN Begins Previews Tomorrow

Previews begin tomorrow, Tuesday, February 27, 2018, for Edward Albee's Three Tall Women. Three Tall Women stars two-time Academy Award-winner Glenda Jackson, Tony Award winner, three-time Emmy Award winner, and 2018 Academy Award nominee Laurie Metcalf, and Tony Award nominee Alison Pill. This production is directed by two-time Tony Award winner Joe Mantello and produced by Scott Rudin. Three Tall Women will have an official opening night on Thursday, March 29 at the Golden Theatre (252 West 45th Street).

Full Casting Announced For Harley Granville Barker's AGNES COLANDER

Full casting is today announced for the world premiere of Harley Granville Barker's Agnes Colander, edited by Richard Nelson. This newly discovered play will be directed by multi-award winning director Trevor Nunn and runs at the Ustinov Studio from Thursday 15 March to Saturday 14 April, with opening night for press on Wednesday 21 March.

David Edgar Celebrates 70th Birthday With Debut Professional Stage Performance

On the day that one of the most important British playwrights of the post-1960s generation celebrates his 70th birthday, he is also announcing his stage debut. Trying It On is a new play written and performed by David Edgar, which reflects on the legacy of the worldwide student revolt of 1968 (when David was 20 and at university), drawing on first person interviews with some of the leading political figures of the time, as well as contemporary activists.

MATILDA Launches UK and Ireland Tour

The Playhouse Says 'Wilkommen' To CABARET March 13-18

February 19, 2018 - Based on Roundabout Theatre Company's Tony Award-winning production, Sam Mendes (Skyfall, American Beauty) and Rob Marshall's (Into the Woods and Chicago, the films) CABARET will play The Playhouse on Rodney Square in Wilmington for eight performances, March 13-19. This is the first time the Broadway revival has toured the historic Wilmington theater.

Club 11 London and Alex Parker Theatre Company today announce The Light Princess from Tori Amos and Samuel Adamson will receive its first ever concert performance this summer. Rosalie Craig reprises her role of Althea, for which she won the Evening Standard Theatre Award for Best Musical Performance,and Hadley Fraser will play Digby with further casting to be announced. Directed by Paul Foster, the concert takes place at Cadogan Hall on Sunday 1st July 2018.

THE LOVELY BONES Makes its World Premiere in Northampton

The world premiere of The Lovely Bones, one of the bestselling novels of the 21st century and now adapted for the stage by Bryony Lavery and directed by Melly Still, will open at Royal & Derngate, Northampton on 1 September 2018 before transferring to partner theatres Everyman Liverpool, Northern Stage, Newcastle and Birmingham Repertory Theatre. The show will also tour to The New Wolsey Theatre, Ipswich.

Michael Kahn today announces Shakespeare Theatre Company's 2018-2019 Season. With two world premieres from celebrated playwrights, a multiple Tony Award-winning presentation, a dynamic adaptation of a classic novel, two Shakespeare plays and a group of acclaimed directors and artists, it is an ambitious grand finale for STC Artistic Director Michael Kahn, who will retire from the company at the end of the Season.
