From great Russian theatre to world-class Israeli dance; from Man Booker Prize winners to Tony Award winners, from multi-player video theatre to a life-size bouncy castle Stonehenge, the 2014 Perth International Arts Festival really does have something for absolutely everybody.

The acclaimed Adelaide Chamber Singers (ACS) was crowned Choir of the World 2013 on Saturday 13 July at the Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod in Wales.

Houston Ballet Artistic Director Stanton Welch has announced the company's 2013-2014 season. Eight new works enter Houston Ballet's repertoire, including world premieres by James Kudelka, Garrett Smith and Melissa Hough in September 2013; the North American premiere of David Bintley's Aladdin in February 2014; company premieres of Jiri Kylian's Sechs Tanze, Christopher Bruce's Intimate Pages and Stanton Welch's Of Blessed Memory as well as a world premiere A Young Person's Guide to Orchestra by Mr. Welch in March 2014.

On Sunday 16 June the ACS performs Tales of Two Cities at 3pm Great Hall, University of Sydney.

Rising star Australian mezzo-soprano Fiona Campbell will perform her first complete Dido alongside some of Australia's best young and experienced singers, Anna Fraser, Penelope Mills, Richard Butler, Tobias Cole, Alexander Knight with Sydney Philharmonia's Chamber Singers and period instrumental ensemble, conducted by Brett Weymark.
