I used to sing this song with a vocal trio, and everytime we'd get to 'Maybe I'll count the stars until dawn. Me, I will go on,' my eyes would well with tears. It's a song of passion, strength and looking forward to brighter days. If that's not what this season is about, I don't know what is. The Ordway Center for the Performing Arts is excited to present its 2016 holiday show, Irving Berlin's White Christmas. The Ordway-produced musical will run Dec. 8-31 for a total of 30 performances.

Ranging from the nationally known singer/actress Linda Purl to Peter Rapanano's Christmas Show and the hilarious Hedda Lettuce and ending with a New Year's Eve like none other with Comedian Julie Goldman, The RRazz Room at the Raven in New Hope brings great variety to audiences in December at Bucks County's premiere supper club.

December at Blue Note Hawaii, the state's premier venue for the world's most celebrated artists, promises to be one of the most musically-diverse months yet. The club kicks off with two nights of the island's hottest reggae acts with Revive the Live Waikiki Edition, followed by tributes to Billie Holiday and Duke Ellington, singer-songwriter Imua Garza and a nostalgic run with Henry Kapono as he presents the Songs of C&K. Acoustic rock and reggae artist Trevor Hall, the legendary Willie K and soulful guitarist Tavana take us into the middle of the month, leading up to GRAMMY(R) Award-winning trumpeter Herb Alpert. Swing right in to the holiday season as SOPAC presents the John Pizzarelli Quartet on December 4 at 7:30 p.m.

Everybody will get in the holiday mood when the stage production of the beloved musical IRVING BERLIN'S WHITE CHRISTMAS plays at the Orpheum Theater November 15 through 20, as part of the Omaha Performing Arts Broadway Series.
