The Empresarios to Release New Album THE VIBES, 9/25

The Empresarios are ready to bring tropicaliente beats to the world again this winter, after spending much of 2014 in the studio the group's third album is complete. The Vibes continues to bring the warm Latin sounds that fans have come to expect from Empresarios but with new surprises. The Vibes includes collaborations from Miami based Colombian rapper Ephniko and DC-based salseros Orquesta Salsaley.

Middle Voice Theater Company to Host Workshop Production of EXPOSURE

Rattlestick Playwrights Theater's apprentice company, The Middle Voice Theater Company invites you to the workshop production of Steve' DiUbaldo's Exposure directed by Victor Cervantes Jr., which opens Thursday, August 20th and runs until Sunday, August 23rd at WorkShop Theater.

The local lawyer tries to woo the same woman away, while the boss himself plots to accumulate wealth manipulating those around him. A comedic tale of mixed up romance and life in the drug industry. Opera as you've never seen it before, told through the style of the hit TV show, Breaking Bad. Sung in the original Italian with supertitles.

E! to Integrate E! NEWS & Digital Divisions

E! announced today that the network will integrate its “E! News” and digital divisions under the leadership of John Najarian, EVP, News and Digital for E! This combined operation will allow the network to align strategies and fuel continued growth for E! Online and flagship TV series “E! News.” Bringing all content, social/interactive and product/operations together also enables the new group to more effectively leverage its strength in storytelling and news gathering, and provide a deeper, more engaging social and interactive “E! News” experience.

The Bronx Academy of Arts and Dance began its fall season with the BlakTinX Performance Series on November 1 with a Day of the Dead event and the festival continues to November 22, 2014 with special theater and dance performances. This annual festival celebrates art and performance in various disciplines by African American, Latino and artists of color will include several evenings of dance and performance. Third Annual Latino Arts Festival Set for Ware Center, 3/6-8

The Third Annual Latino Arts Festival kicks off three-days of events showcasing Latino art, music, dance, film, family programming and more March 6-8 at the Ware Center, 42 North Prince Street, Lancaster, PA. The Festival is meant to celebrate the rich cultural traditions of the Latino community, and everyone - regardless of national heritage - is encouraged and invited to attend. Two of the five events are free. Three other events are ticketed and can be purchased individually (priced from $5 to $15 max.) or included in an all-five events/all weekend pass for $25 - a 33% discount.

Choreographer Shirley Jenkins Presents WOMEN... GOTTA LUV 'EM, Now thru 1/26

On January 24 Seattle Choreographer Shirley Jenkins will premiere her newest and most personal modern dance pieces on the Cornish Playhouse stage. Women…Gotta Luv 'Em reflects Jenkins' triumphant and turbulent dance journey that includes her own battles with cancer and debilitating injury. As Jenkins explains, 'My choreographic intentions come from my heart's desire to express deep emotions from my life's experiences. Dance has always been my reason to live, and Women...Gotta Luv 'Em takes my stories and exposes them to the world. It is the culmination of the past few years of my life—my battles with cancer, my recovery and my rebirth to dance. I am bringing a total celebration of survival, strength, hope, and pure love of life to the stage.”

Disney/ABC Television Group's Casting Project to Host 32nd Showcase Tomorrow

Disney/ABC Television Group's Casting Project will host its 32nd showcase as part of its ongoing effort to discover and nurture culturally and ethnically diverse talent and actors with disabilities. The presentations will take place at the El Portal Theatre Center for Performing Arts in North Hollywood, on TUESDAY, OCTOBER 29.

Pacific Mambo Orchestra with Tito Puente, Jr. to Play Harris Center, 11/19

Performing the music of Machito, Tito Puente, Celia Cruz and others-while including those rich traditions within their own contemporary arrangements-Pacific Mambo Orchestra is led by Marlow Rosado, who won a 2013 Grammy for his album Retro. Joining on percussion is Tito Puente, Jr, who is determined to nurture the musical legacy left by his father.
