VIDEO: Sneak Peek at Broadway's Best in Rehearsal for Tonight's MAYA & MARTY Performance

Broadway's top musical artists are set to appear on tonight's (June 21st) telecast of 'Maya & Marty' on NBC to perform 'What the World Needs Now Is Love,' an updated version of the classic Burt Bacharach/Hal David song that is helping to support the devastated LGBT community of Orlando, Fla. A slew of stage vets rehearsed the song earlier today, and Seth Rudetsky captured a sneak preview.

Gingold Theatrical Group's PROJECT SHAW, under the leadership of Artistic Director David Staller, continued its 11th Season with George Bernard Shaw's GENEVA. Written and first produced in 1938, Geneva is a wildly satirical political comedy. In it, a German Jew arrives in Geneva demanding a summit meeting designed to contain the increasingly dangerous behavior of three dictators, Herr Battler, Signor Bombardone, and General Flanco (parodies of Hitler, Mussolini and Franco). The three are brought before the International Criminal Court of the League of Nations to justify their atrocities.

Broadway Records President Van Dean, SiriusXM Radio Host Seth Rudetsky and Producer James Wesley launched the charitable initiative Broadway for Orlando with an all-star roster of theater artists recording the benefit single 'What the World Needs Now is Love,' at Avatar Studios. Created to honor the victims and those wounded in the Orlando shooting massacre at Pulse nightclub and aid the surrounding community, 100% of the proceeds from the sale of the song will benefit the LGBT Center of Central Florida. Phillipa Soo Sets the Date for Her Final HAMILTON Performance

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the recently Tony-nominated Phillipa Soo has set the date for her final HAMILTON performance. She will reportedly leave the show after July 9th, the day that many of the current company members' contracts expire. Earlier this month, THR also reported that Lin-Manuel Miranda will leave the show that day.
