There have been many movies and documentaries produced about the war in Vietnam, but none as inspiring and heart-wrenching as Rory Kennedy's Oscar-nominated film, Last Days in Vietnam, airing on Detroit Public Television/Ch. 56 on April 28 at 9 p.m. Presented by American Experience, the film tells the story of the final evacuation -- those who escaped and those who were left behind.

The second play in MALIBU PLAYHOUSE'S 2013-2014 season will be the West Coast Premiere of Belfry by Billy Roche, opening Friday, January 31, 2014. The play will be directed by Veronica Brady and stars Michael Hyland, Rebekah Tripp and 2010 American Idol contestant Carson Higgins. Sundance Institute announced today the films selected to screen in the out-of-competition Premieres and Documentary Premieres sections of the 2012 Sundance Film Festival.
