The Philhallmonics Presents Holiday Concert, MAN WITH THE BAG Today

Join The Philhallmonics swingin' and singin' their way through holiday favorites in 'Man With The Bag' presented by The Lincoln Center Library for the Performing Arts and The PhilHallmonics (www.philhallmonics.com) today, December 7, 2013, 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. at the Bruno Walter Auditorium at Lincoln Center (entrance at 65th St & Amsterdam). National Tours & Regional credits include: The Unsinkable Molly Brown, A Little Night Music, Annie, The King and I, Kiss Me Kate, South Pacific, Kismet, etc.

ANNIE and Pedrigree Raise Over $1 Million to Help Dogs Find Homes

In a dual effort to raise awareness for dog adoption and help more dogs find loving homes, ANNIE teamed up with PEDIGREE Brand for the 'See the Show, Help a Dog' initiative. At the heart of the partnership is the PEDIGREE Brand belief that every dog deserves a loving home. It's a sentiment shared with ANNIE and Broadway - an organization that has cast shelter dogs in starring roles for decades.

This event is being performed under the auspices of The Composer Speaks series, which is sponsored by Clurman's Essential Voices USA. The Composer Speaks workshops involve a presentation of musical selections followed by a discussion between the composers, librettists, conductor Judith Clurman, and audience members about musical choices and compositional techniques.

Corey Cott, Kara Lindsay, Ron Raines & More Set for ASCAP Centennial Celebration

The Kennedy Center, under the auspices of the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP), presents a free, five-night ASCAP Centennial Celebration on the Millennium Stage November 16-18 and 20-21, 2013. This live showcase of musical theater works from the past 100 years features songs by some of the theater world's most talented composers and lyricists and concerts from a lineup of acclaimed musical theater performers. The celebration is part of the Center's daily, free Millennium Stage performance series streamed live on the Kennedy Center website and archived for future viewings. It is the first in a series of events across the country that will celebrate ASCAP's upcoming 100th birthday, on February 13, 2014.

Breaking News: Ron Raines Joins ANNIE as 'Daddy Warbucks'; Anthony Warlow to Depart on 12/8

TONY and EMMY Award nominee Ron Raines returns to Broadway as Daddy Warbucks in the new Broadway production of ANNIE at the Palace Theatre (1564 Broadway between 46th and 47th Streets). He will begin performances on Tuesday, December 10. Australian superstar Anthony Warlow will play his final performance as Daddy Warbucks on Sunday, December 8.
