Teatro ZinZanni Seattle today announced the cast of headlining talent set to play in the romantic, original production, Hotel L'Amour. Starring the return of the Tony Award-winning living legend Liliane Montevecchi, Hotel L'Amour also features funny man Frank Ferrante, master illusionist Maestro Voronin, aerialist and choreographer to the stars Dreya Weber, and opera diva Kristin Clayton alongside international circus artists Svetlana, aerialist Rui Ling, and juggler Viktor Lee. Mikko Nissinen, Artistic Director of Boston Ballet, has announced six promotions from within the company for the 2016–2017 season. Soloists Anaïs Chalendard and Seo Hye Han have been promoted to the rank of Principal Dancer, Second Soloist Junxiong Zhao to Soloist, and Corina Gill to Second Soloist. Samivel Evans and Desean Taber, two dancers from Boston Ballet II—Boston Ballet's second company—will join the Company as Corps de Ballet dancers. All promotions are effective August 15, 2016. The full 2016–2017 roster of dancers will be announced at a later date.

ANAIS CHALENDARD will be a member of the faculty for the Allen Civic Ballet's Summer Intensive from June 6-8, 2016 in Allen, Texas.

From the 10 - 15 March 2015 English National Ballet presents Modern Masters: Icons of 20th Century Choreography, a new triple bill at Sadler's Wells. The evening's programme includes works from two choreographers new to the Company's repertoire, William Forsythe's In the Middle, Somewhat Elevated and Spring and Fall by John Neumeier. The triple bill also includes Ji?í Kylián's Petite Mort, first performed by the Company in Ecstasy and Death in 2013.

Ballet San Jose Artistic Director José Manuel Carreño has announced that the Company has been invited to tour with celebrated former Bolshoi Ballet starsNatalia Osipova and Ivan Vasiliev in performances in Southern California, Moscow and London this summer. The tour repertoire will feature Osipova and Vasiliev's debuts in Roland Petit's Carmenwith Ballet San Jose with the balance of the program comprising pas de deux to be performed by the former Bolshoi artists. Performances will be given July 25-27 at the Segerstrom Center for the Arts in Costa Mesa, CA; July 31 and August 1-3 at the Stanislavsky Theatre in Moscow, Russia; and August 6-9 at the London Coliseum in London. Ballet San Jose Artistic Director and former star of American Ballet Theatre, English National Ballet and the Royal Ballet José Manuel Carreño will take the stage for the first time in more than a year for his debut in the role of Don José in Roland Petit's Carmen, partnering Ballet San Jose Principal Dancer Alexsandra Meijer in the title role, in two performances: Friday and Saturday, May 9 and 10, at 8 pm. The roles will be performed by Ommi Pipit-Suksun and Rudy Candia for the Sunday, May 11 ,1:30 pm performance, and the program also features the Company premiere of Twyla Tharp's In the Upper Room.
