Transforming Pink Floyd's 1979 album The Wall onto the operatic stage, Another Brick in the Wall tells the semi-autobiographical story of a rock star's troubled journey after lashing out at an admiring concertgoer. Another Brick in the Wall completely transforms Roger Waters's original work into a standard operatic form, with eight soloists, 51 chorus members, and a 64-piece orchestra. The opera received its world premiere at Opera de Montreal in March 2017, with ten sold-out performances. Cincinnati Opera is a co-producer of the opera with Productions Opera Concept M.P., Inc., led by executive director Pierre Dufour. The concept and stage direction for the production was created by Dominic Champagne, renowned for his work on such Cirque de Soleil productions as LOVE, Varekai, and Zumanity.

Steady Holiday premiered her new single 'Who's Gonna Stop Us' today alongside an enigmatic video that matches the song's unsettling tone. In an interview with Consequence of Sound, Dre Babinski shared her inspirations, from Howard Zinn to the classic musical The Music Man, for the song.

Steady Holiday, the indie-pop project of LA's Dre Babinski, announced her new record Nobody's Watching today -- the album is her first since signing to Barsuk Records and will be released on August 24. Produced by Gus Seyffert (Roger Waters, Beck, Bedouine), Nobody's Watching folds a sense of paranoia in the modern age into Steady Holiday's evocative soundscapes, resulting in an album that's both dreamy and unsettling.

Lincoln Center today announced additional artists to the Out of Doors 2018 lineup, with musicians covering genres like country, funk, rock, indie-folk and more. Held in Lincoln Center's Damrosch Park and BEYOND from July 24 - August 12, Out of Doors is one of the country's longest-running summer outdoor festivals, offering free music, dance, spoken word and family events to all.

On May 18th, Public Television's critically acclaimed conversation series Speakeasy, will return to New York City's Iridium to film an all new episode featuring legendary frontman Joe Elliott and Rolling Stone Editor David Fricke. On May 24th, Public Television's critically acclaimed conversation series Speakeasy, will return to The McKittrick Hotel's Manderley Bar in New York City to film an all new episode, presented by Citi, featuring iconic musicians Sting and Shaggy discussing their new album, 44/876. The inaugural SUITE/Space artists, Tariq Al-Sabir, Tamar-kali, Davalois Fearon and Sanaz Ghajar, work in a variety of disciplines and share Mabou Mines' commitment to breaking new ground in form and content. Founded in the summer of 1970 as an artist-driven collective, Mabou Mines has a long history of fostering the next generation of artists through mentorships and residencies. SUITE/Space is a new performance initiative for artists that reflect New York City's rich cultural landscape and provides artistic advisement, development support, rehearsal space, and opportunities for public performance. 

The most musically satisfying Beatles tribute band and State Theatre audience favorite returns to Easton performing Sgt. Legendary singer, songwriter and performer John Prine will release his highly anticipated new album, The Tree of Forgiveness, April 13 on his own independent label, Oh Boy Records (pre-order now).
