THE WHO are gearing up for a 29-date North American 'Moving On' Symphonic Tour where a local symphony orchestra will join the band nightly for songs from 'Tommy' and 'Quadrophenia'along with their greatest hits and some long awaited new tunes.  Roger Daltrey got the idea of a symphonic tour after spending the summer of 2018 performing 'Tommy' with symphonies and“loving the experience”.  That tour was conducted by renowned composer and conductor, KEITH LEVENSON, where he led symphonies including The Boston Pops, The Chicago Symphony and The Cleveland Orchestra.   

Today Howard Stern and SiriusXM announced Howard Stern's Saturday Soundtracks, a weekly exploration of the most intimate, innovative, and inspiring music performances recorded both recently and over the decades on the Howard Stern Show.

The Riverside Opera Company(ROC) and Richmond County Orchestra(RCO), under the direction of Maestro Alan Aurelia presents the 2nd Annual Staten Island Has Talent @NYPL. The performers are winners of open public auditions held by the RCO and ROC . They will sing and perform selections of their choosing. The performance is free and open to the public on Saturday, March 16th at 2:30 p.m. at the RichmondTown branch of the New York Public Library located at 200 Clarke Avenue, Staten Island. Just announced! The Ozark Mountain Daredevils will bring their distinctive 'rootsy rock' sound to the Rock Legends Cruise VII stage February 14-18, 2019. The Rock Legends Cruise VII brings together rock music's most successful and critically acclaimed bands, with all proceeds going to the Native American Heritage Association, a non-profit organization dedicated to fighting hunger and providing basic life necessities to families living on Reservations in South Dakota.

Molissa Fenley and Company, in collaboration with percussionist Frank Cassara and violist Ralph Farris, will present an evening of dance and live music, with scores by four contemporary composers. The program features four dances from Fenley's Water Table, three of which are New York premieres. The program also includes a new configuration of Fenley's 1979 work Mix.
