Dixon Place presents new work every month -- theater, puppetry, performance and visual art, music, dance and literature -- at all stages of development. This Fall, Dixon Place will present new-works-in-progress written and performed by current Artist-in-Residence David Cale.
Continuing its popular live-stream series, which recently featured a Memorial Concert for Pete and Toshi Seeger in July, Lincoln Center will live-stream concerts on August 6 at 7:30 pm, featuring Emmylou Harris & Rodney Crowell plus an opening set by Robert Ellis; on August 8 at 7:30 pm with sets by The Campbell Brothers performing a sacred steel version of John Coltrane's A Love Supreme and Cassandra Wilson; and August 9 at 6 pm featuring Rosanne Cash, The Lone Bellow, and Buddy Miller & Jim Lauderdale.

The schedule for this summer's Lincoln Center Out of Doors festival, which runs from July 20 to August 10, was announced today by Bill Bragin, Lincoln Center's Director of Public Programming. Nearly 100 free performances will take place across the plazas of Lincoln Center during three weeks. A special Memorial Concert for Pete and Toshi Seeger on July 20 will be followed by the official opening concert on July 23 with Larry Harlow's Hommy: A Latin Opera, the landmark work's first performance in 40 years. The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum's All for the Hall fundraiser will return to Los Angeles for the first time in nearly three years. The event, which will take place on Tuesday, March 4, at Club Nokia, will again follow a 'guitar pull' format, featuring performances by Country Music Hall of Fame members Vince Gill and Emmylou Harris, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame members Heart and Grammy Award-winning artist Jason Mraz. Acclaimed actress/singer/film producer Rita Wilson will host the event.
