R.R.R.E.D., a new musical with music and lyrics by Katie Thompson and a book by Adam Jackman, Katie Thompson and Patrick Livingston, has announced complete casting for its Off-Broadway premiere.

This summer, two new musicals will arrive at the DR2 Theatre (103 E 15th St, New York, NY), playing performances on an ongoing rotating schedule.

This April, FEINSTEIN'S/54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club & Private Event Destination, presents some of the brightest stars from Broadway, cabaret, jazz, and beyond.

The American Theatre Wing just presented the 2018 Jonathan Larson® Grants recipients are Jay Adana (music and lyrics), Andrew R. Butler & Andrew Farmer (music, lyrics, and book), Emily Kaczmarek& Zoe Sarnak (music, lyrics, and book), and Mark Sonnenblick(music and lyrics). Four prestigious, unrestricted grants of $10,000 each, as well as additional support in the form of residencies, concerts, and recording grants, totaling over $48,000 were given at a private event at the WNYC Greene Space. 

FEINSTEIN'S/54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, presents Dean Cestari in Here and Now on April 21st. Singing songs influenced by life's ups-and-downs, Dean explores the milestone moments that shaped who he is and have left lasting impressions. Here and Now wittily and earnestly highlights the difficulty of finding who you are in the face of adversity while also celebrating the freedom and victory that comes from rising above. Dean is ecstatic to bring you on his journey from three-year-old boy skipping around the house dressed as Dorothy to starving artist living his dream in the big city.

THE GREEN ROOM 42 presents Danny Marin and Kyle Coughlin in "Aftertaste of Love" on April 20 @ 7p. Aftertaste of Love is a musical tribute to the popular VH1 reality show Flavor of Love starring Flavor Flav of Public Enemy. Featuring songs by some of your favorite pop divas, Aftertaste of Love promises to get you in all of your feels. Who knows? Maybe a few surprise guests may show up for the party. Join us for the juke box musical you never knew you needed! "Aftertaste of Love" is directed by Lindsey Sherman, music directed by Rodney Bush.

Jay Armstrong Johnson's Not So Scary Halloween Party is back by popular demand after a sold out party in 2016. Conceived, written, and directed by Jay, and backed by an 8 piece band led by Rodney Bush, Jay will be joined by a slew of Broadway talent including Alysha Umphress (On the Town), Major Attaway(Aladdin), Ben Fankhauser (Newsies), Julia Mattison (Godspell), Danny Quadrino (Wicked), Kerstin Anderson (Sound of Music), Katie Thomson (Giant), and a cast of many more crazy and kooky characters. Get ready for an upbeat and eclectic set of tunes from Broadway to Jazz to Pop to Rock, and COME IN COSTUME! You might just win the costume contest. Throw back some of Winifred's Life Potion and order the fried chicken special made exclusively forJay's Not So Scary Halloween Party, and then party with the cast across the street at Characters after the 9:30pm performance.
