On Saturday, April 18 at 3:00 p.m. in Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage, Tony Award winner Jessie Mueller (Beautiful: The Carole King Musical) joins musical director and co-host Leslie Stifelman and director and choreographer Melissa Rae Mahon from Chicago: The Musical, co-host Thomas Cabaniss, and The Broadway All-Star Chorus-comprising top performers from the Great White Way-for a fun, interactive Carnegie Hall Family Concert that gives parents and their children the opportunity to sing and dance along with their favorite Broadway numbers.

Producers Betty Ann Besch Solinger and Alice Chebba Walsh will present a private stage reading of the new musical SENSE & SENSIBILITY THE MUSICAL on June 12 and June 13, 2014 in New York. Based on the Jane Austen novel of the same name, SENSE & SENSIBILITY THE MUSICAL had a critically acclaimed world premiere in 2013 at the Denver Center Theatre Company. SENSE & SENSIBILITY THE MUSICAL features a book and lyrics by Jeffrey Haddow, music by Neal Hampton and direction, and musical staging by Tony Award nominee Marcia Milgrom Dodge (Ragtime).

The world premiere production of the brand new musical comedy Bullets Over Broadway, written by Woody Allen and based on the screenplay by Allen and Douglas McGrath for the 1994 film opened last night at the St. James Theatre. The producers of the Tony Award-winning musical comedy Nice Work If You Can Get It have announced that the Broadway production will play its final performance today, June 15, 2013 after 27 previews and 478 regular performances at the Imperial Theatre (249 West 45th Street). The production began performances on March 29, 2012 and opened on Apr 24, 2012. A national tour will be launched in the 2014-2015 season.

On Thursday, June 13, Inside Broadway partnered with Nice Work if You Can Get It at Broadway's Imperial Theatre, where thousands of NYC public school students visited for two exclusive 'Creating the Magic' events. Tony nominated actress Jessie Mueller, currently starring in the Tony Award-winning musical comedy Nice Work If You Can Get It, appeared on NBC's 'Today' this morning, May 9th in the 10:00 a.m. hour as part of Kathie Lee and Hoda's 'Everyone Has a Story' segment. Mueller sang 'For You', co-written by Lee for 7-year-old AJ Kelm, who is battling a rare form of epilepsy, and his mother. Click below to watch!
