54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, presents Robin De Jesus in #TheStruggleIsReal on Monday, May 4th at 9:30pm. Hilarity and silliness ensues as Robin De Jesus tries to figure out why learning, growing up, turning 30 and “becoming a better person” sucks. Expect to hear Broadway standards, 90?s pop, and today and tomorrow's hits. This is Robin's second show at 54 Below after his successful run with Crush to Crushed. Joining De Jesus in #TheStruggleIsReal will be Special Guests, Taylor Louderman (Bring It On, NBC's Peter Pan Live) and Daniel Quadrino (Newsies, Wicked, NBC's Peter Pan Live).

Chazz Palminteri Leads NYC Reading of BREAKING BOBBY STONE Today

A BRONX TALE playwright and star Chazz Palminteri will lead a staged reading of Ben Andron's new play BREAKING BOBBY STONE, directed by Peter Scolari, today, February 10 at 3:30 p.m. at the Snapple Theater Center. The play is reportedly eyeing a Broadway run next season; no official announcement has been made.

Ben Rimalower Extends BAD WITH MONEY Through April 29 in Rep With PATTI ISSUES

Ben Rimalower's new play about spending beyond his means -- will be performed in rep with his first piece PATTI ISSUES at The Duplex (61 Christopher Street at Seventh Avenue) through April 29. PATTI ISSUES, which ran for a year at the same venue and subsequently toured the country and abroad, explores his obsession with Broadway diva Patti LuPone and his relationship with his troubled gay father. The pieces will be performed on alternating Wednesday nights at 7:00 PM. Both shows are written and performed by Ben Rimalower and directed by Aaron Mark.

Blake Pfeil Album Release Party Rescheduled for Rockwood Music Hall

Concluding the sold-out Manhattan-based concert series The Papering Sessions, a successful digital album release, and the launch of the online docu-series Off the Wall, the much-anticipated album release party for Blake Pfeil's debut album Wallpaper has been rescheduled following Winter Storm Juno's cancellation at Dixon Place and will instead paper the walls of Rockwood Music Hall on Manhattan's Lower East Side on Sunday, February 15 at 9:00 PM.

The Theater People Podcast Releases Live Show with Laura Osnes, Ellyn Marie Marsh

On Monday January 26, 2015, the Theater People Podcast will release their 30th episode which was recorded live at Fontana's Bar in New York City as part of the NYC Podfest. For the event, Theater People welcomed back two time Tony nominee Laura Osnes (CINDERELLA, BONNIE & CLYDE) and KINKY BOOTS favorite Ellyn Marie Marsh. BWW Interview: Kara Lindsay Talks Conquering the High Notes as WICKED's Newest Glinda!

WICKED just welcomed new cast members to the Gershwin Theatre last month. Caroline Bowman (Kinky Boots, Eva in the Broadway revival tour of Evita) stepped into the role of Elphaba, and Kara Lindsay (original cast of Broadway's Newsies) assumed the role of Glinda, directly from playing the role on national tour. Kathy Fitzgerald returned to the Broadway company as Madame Morrible, a role she has played on Broadway and on national tour, and Matt Shingledecker (West Side Story) assumed the role of Fiyero. Two-time Tony Award Nominee Robin de Jesus (In the Heights, La Cage Aux Folles) stepped into the role of Boq.
