Review - Burn The Floor: So You Think You Can Sit Through This

The 2009-10 Broadway season began with a shirtless man and a bikini-clad woman posed dramatically under a spinning disco ball. Soon after, similarly underdressed performers danced their way up and down the aisles of the Longacre Theatre in displays that suggested over-caffeination more than artistry.

BURN THE FLOOR is notable for two reasons: It was the first show of the new Broadway season when it opened this summer, and it's still 'heating up' the town. The gorgeous young cast celebrated the show's recent extension to January 3rd, 2010 with a party at Tony's DiNapoli (147 West 43rd Street) on Monday, October 20th.

Broadway's BURN THE FLOOR will be featured on CBS 2 News Sunday Morning this Sunday, October 18 at 8:46 AM when anchor Dana Tyler interviews company members Robin Windsor and Sarah Soriano. WCBS airs on Channel 2 in the tri-state area. In addition, the show has announced that it will extend its current run through January 3, 2010 due to popular demand.
