WaterTower Theatre Producing Artistic Director Terry Martin today announced the cast for regional premiere of The Adventures of Tom Sawyer running January 24 - February 16, 2014 on the Main Stage at the Addison Theatre Centre. The cast features Andrews Cope (Tom Sawyer), Tabitha Ray (Becky Thatcher), Garret Storms (Huckleberry Finn/Ensemble), Jake Buchanan (Joe Harper/Ensemble), Jeff Wittekiend (Sid Sawyer/Ensemble), Van Quattro (Injun Joe/Ensemble), Nancy Sherrard (Aunt Polly/Widow Douglas) and Tom Lenaghen (Muff Potter/Ensemble).

Directing the season opener, Hank Williams: Lost Highway (October 11-November 3, 2013) will be Michael Serrecchia. The Game's Afoot (or Holmes for the Holidays) (December 13- January 5, 2014) will be directed by Robin Armstrong. The Adventures of Tom Sawyer (January 24-February 16, 2014) will be directed by Emily Scott Banks. Spunk (April 11-May 4, 2014) will be directed by Akin Babatunde.Good People (June 6-29, 2014) will be directed by Rene Moreno and Dogfight (July 25-August 17, 2014) will be directed by Terry Martin.

'Golf is a game whose aim is to hit a very small ball into an even smaller hole, with weapons singularly ill-designed for the purpose.' That was Winston Churchill's take on the game of golf, an opinion which might be shared by several top competitors at the recent US Open. Nevertheless, golf remains an obsession for many amateurs, and competition in inter-country club tourneys can be fierce. But nowhere is there a competition with more comedic punch than in Ken Ludwig's riotous farce, The Fox on the Fairway, beginning a 6-week run at Stage West on Friday, July 5. Circle Theatre's 31st Season concludes with Ghost-Writer, the award-winning new drama by Michael Hollinger. This supernatural romance previews Thursday, October 11, at 7:30pm; Friday, October 12, at 8:00pm; and Saturday, October 13 (matinee), at 3:00pm. The production of?cially opens Saturday, October 13, at 8:00pm. The opening night performance will be followed by a post-show party with the cast and crew, sponsored by Oliver's Fine Foods and The Cupcakery.

SPAMALOT to Move to Playhouse Theatre in November

According to published reports, Monty Python's Spamalot, a new musical lovingly ripped off from Monty Python and the Holy Grail by Eric Idle and John Du Prez, directed by Christopher Luscombe, will move to the Playhouse Theatre following its current run at the Harold Pinter Theatre. After closing at the Pinter on September 9, the show will open at the Playhouse on November 14, where it will play through April 13.
