The Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts in partnership with the Atlantic Wind Symphony will present BAND SELECTIONS TO DANCE BY: MUSIC WRITTEN TO CELEBRATE CULTURAL DANCE on Sunday, June 1 at 3:00 PM. Selections in this performance include Robert Russell Bennetts' 'Suite of Old American Dances,' David Holsingers' 'Liturgical Dances,' and 'Yiddish Dances' by Adam Gorb. In addition, the concert will also feature the winner of our annual student solo competition performing with the professional members of the Atlantic Wind Symphony. The Atlantic Wind Symphony is Long Islands' oldest fully professional concert band featuring only Long Island musicians.

This is certainly the best production of South Pacific that I have seen, and I have seen quite a few, including being involved with three productions myself.

THE GONG SHOW LIVE opened in New York at B.B. King's Blues Club & Grill (42nd Street) on Thursday, August 12, 2010 as a tri-annual sold-out event, which garnered across-the-board rave notices that, after two years, led to the move to the brand new Cutting Room (44 East 32 Street) where it opened on Thursday, November 1, 2012 to more critical acclaim and sold-out shows; three of which Miss Gold and The Cutting Room completely filled with victims of Hurricane Sandy who were all gifted with free tickets, dinner and drinks.

Silverlake Conservatory of Music announced today that its founder, Red Hot Chili Peppers' bassist Flea, and bandmate/front-man Anthony Kiedis will host a benefit for the school on Wednesday, October 30th in Silverlake, CA featuring special performances by Neil Young and Red Hot Chili Peppers. Proceeds from the evening will contribute to the Conservatory's goal of purchasing a permanent facility and expanding their scholarship program.
