The Futernick Family Art Gallery Presents a Natural Pastels Art Exhibit, 1/11-2/21

Savor a delicious brunch on January 11th at 11am, as you join us for the opening reception of a special show to celebrate the work of over ten South Florida artists using soft pastels. Become familiar with a brilliant art material, favored by painters since the renaissance to depict vibrant plant forms, landscapes, still lifes, portraits and more.

With various levels of experience, these artists show elegant and very individual styles with radiant hues adorning each piece. You will be amazed at the versatility and beauty of pastels on paper. The Natural Pastels exhibit is being held in memory of talented pastel artist and friend Terrie Newman, whose works will be shown alongside those of Sharon Asbel, Dan Bondress, Suzy Breitner, Ginger Diamond, Ken Glick, Myrna Nisonson, Susan Randall, Linda Scott Taylor, Katie Sundby, Susan Thomas, Penny Thurer and Zenaida Wilk.

Gallery Open Sundays 1 - 4pm, and at 7pm the nights of Jan. 29, 30, 31,Feb. 1 for Robert Russell Theater production, Stars of David, a funny and captivating new musical revue celebrating the lives of your favorite Jewish public figures, based on the best-selling book by Abigail Pogrebin, with original music by Broadway's finest composers and lyricists.
