DIG INFINITY! Gets Staged Reading as Part of Planet Connections Theatre Festivity, 6/13

Apocalypso Theatre Collective offers a new generation a chance to rediscover the man at a staged reading of Dig Infinity! at the Gene Frankel Theatre, located at 24 Bond Street, on Thursday, June 13th at 11am as part of the 5th Annual Planet Connections Theatre Festivity. The Festivity will take place from May 29th - June 23rd at the Gene Frankel and Robert Moss Theatres.

Articulate Theatre to Present DRAGON as Part of Planet Connections, 5/29-6/17

Articulate Theatre Company has announced the NYC premiere production of Jenny Connell Davis' DRAGON, directed by Cat Parker. DRAGON will play a limited engagement as part of the 4th Annual Planet Connection Theatre Festivity at the Robert Moss Theatre (440 Lafayette St., 3rd Floor). Performances begin Wednesday, May 29 and continue through Monday, June 17.

Nylon Fusion Theatre Company Announces 10-Minute Play Festival Beginning 4/29

"This Round's On Us" - After the Fool... is the second fundraising event of the year to support Nylon Fusion Theatre Company's 6th Season. The festival will feature plays by new and notable playwrights, including Kristina Poe, a longtime member of LAByrinth Theater Company, James Harmon Brown, best known for his work on All My Children, and Jack Karp, a member of Nylon Fusion and winner of the David Mamet Playwriting Competition, whose recent play Incendiary Agents, presented at The New Ohio, performed to sold-out houses.

Akademeia Theatre Presents MISS NOWHERE DINER, 6/13-23

Akad?meia Theatre presents Miss Nowhere Diner, a play about the power of faith, the lure of deceit by Kathleen Potts. Lydia Fort directs a cast of six including Branden Baskin, Lex Daemon, Salina Duplessis, Jennifer Roberts, Miriam Tabb, and Corey Wright*. Six performances for Miss Nowhere Diner will be held at the Robert Moss Theatre, 440 Lafayette Street, NYC from June 13-23 as part of The Planet Connections Theatre Festivity. Planet Connections Theatre Festivity to Stage New Musical WALDEN, 5/29-6/23

The Planet Connections Theatre Festivity presents Walden, a story-theatre style musical adaptation of Thoreau's best seller, featuring his work on the underground railroad and his star-crossed romance. Six performances for Walden will be held at the Robert Moss Theatre, 440 Lafayette Street, NYC from May 29-June 15 as part of The Planet Connections Theatre Festivity. The Festivity will take place May 29th through June 23rd at Gene Frankel and Robert Moss Theatres in New York City.

Planet Connections Theatre Festivity Announces 2013 Dates, Lineup; Will Feature New Work from Neil LaBute, John Patrick Shanley and More

Offering an exciting range of green theater this summer, from May 29-June 23 the Planet Connections Theatre Festivity, New York's premiere eco-friendly/socially-conscious theatre, music and film festival will present 30 full theater productions and 15 free staged readings at the Robert Moss Theatre (440 Lafayette Street) and the Gene Frankel Theatre (24 Bond Street).

Planet Connections Gala on June 16 Will Feature New Plays by Neil LaBute, John Patrick Shanley and Winter Miller

On Sunday, June 16 at 7:30pm at the Alice Griffin Jewelbox Theatre in the Pershing Square Signature Center, the Planet Connections Theatre Festivity Gala 'One Acts for a Cause' will showcase three new one-act plays by acclaimed playwrights Neil LaBute, John Patrick Shanley and Winter Miller (Neil LaBute and Winter Miller's pieces will be world premieres). The evening, which will start with a VIP reception with the playwrights at 6:30pm followed by the performance at 7:30pm, will raise funds for the non-profit Safe Horizon, the leading victim services agency in the United States. VIP tickets are $300 (orchestra ticket & reception ticket); show-only tickets are $200 (orchestra) and $150 (mezzanine) and tickets can currently be purchased online at www.PlanetConnections.org.

Wagner, LaValley, Aronson, and More Join SUCCESS STORY; Full Cast Announced!

Casting is complete for John Howard Lawson's Success Story, which opens March 6. Starring as the torn lovers are Leah Wagner and Allie Mulholland, roles originated by brother and sister acting legends Stella & Luther Adler. James Aronson steps into the love triangle in the role of Raymond Merritt, further complicated by Adrienne LaValley as his kept girl.
