The Neighborhood House program of Christ Church Preservation Trust, a catalyst for the arts at historic Christ Church, hosts the International Contemporary Ensemble in a year-long residency to celebrate Christ Church's new C.B. Fisk pipe organ, Opus 150. The residency culminates with world premiere performances of In Plain Air, a work in multiple movements by composers Nathan Davis and Phyllis Chen, on September 22 and 23 as part of the 2018 Fringe Festival.

Philadelphia Contemporary, a globally oriented visual and performance art nonprofit, is pleased to announce its latest public art installation, Jane Irish: Antipodes, in partnership with The Fairmount Park Conservancy, Philadelphia Parks and Recreation, and the Friends of Lemon Hill. The Merola Opera Program launches its 60th Anniversary season on Sunday, June 11 with a Benefit Gala at City Hall and a concert immediately following at Herbst Theatre in San Francisco, featuring some of the acclaimed Merola program's most illustrious participants. Today, from the Robert Morris State Street Gallery, Chicago Opera Theater (COT) announced plans for the 2017/2018 season, including a modern opera, a world-premiere co-production from a Pulitzer Prize-winning duo and a groundbreaking double-bill. Kalamazoo Valley Community College's newest culinary classroom, the 418 restaurant, is now open to the public. 'This student-run restaurant offers a unique learning opportunity,' said John Korycki, director of culinary education for the college.
