Broadway veteran Mitzi Hamilton, one of the dancers in Michael Bennett's original developmental workshop that provided the inspiration for the character of Val in A Chorus Line, will direct and choreograph the Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize-winning musical at Surflight Theatre, August 27-September 14.

MCC THEATER (Robert LuPone, Bernard Telsey, William Cantler, Artistic Directors; Blake West, Executive Director) just announced that film star Heather Graham, Gia Crovatin, Golden Globe nominee Callie Thorne, and Frederick Weller will star in the world premiere of MCC Playwright-in-Residence Neil LaBute's new play, The Money Shot, directed by Terry Kinney. Performances for The Money Shot begin at the Lucille Lortel Theatre (121 Christopher Street, NYC) on September 4, 2014. MCC Theater has announced the extension of the American premiere of Penelope Skinner's celebrated play The Village Bike, starring indie film actress Greta Gerwig, and featuring direction by Sam Gold. The production is now scheduled at the Lucille Lortel Theatre (121 Christopher Street, NYC) through Sunday, July 13, 2014. It was previously scheduled through June 28th. Small Engine Repair at the Lucille Lortel Theatre (121 Christopher Street, NYC) had its official opening night on November 20, 2013 and was previously extended through December 15, 2013. The show must close December 21st to make way for the next Lortel tenant.
